Our group stayed at the King George IV Inn, Charleston in late May, 2008. We cannot say enough about this inn. Located within walking distance to all attractions, beautiful rooms and the best guest services I have encountered even when comparing this to a large hotel. All rooms were beautiful, large & clean. My sister and I occupied the top... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days in May. The inn is in a very good location, it's about 10 minute walk to the market area (where most of the restaurants, bars, are located. King Street which is where all of the department store shopping is is less than a block away. We stayed in room 4.... more

My sisters and I just returned from our annual sister-bonding trip. This was our first time in South Carolina and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Terry and Debra, along with their entire staff, proved to us the true meaning of “southern hospitality”. They did everything right, from making our reservations for a city tour, dinner and... more

This is the 4th B&B I stayed in and the best -- great location (walk to everything and quiet at night), immaculately clean and helpful/accommodating innkeeper. Would definitely stay there again. more

My sisters and I have planned trips together every year since 2002. This trip was the best ever. I have never stayed anywhere that took such good care of their customers, and it was my first experience staying at a bed-and-breakfast. The hosts were friendly, and all their suggestions for places to eat and shop and tour were accurate. When... more

My fiance and I stayed there for a couple of nights during Easter weekend. At first glance, the room and service appeared great. However, when we first used the bathroom, we realised the shower head was screaming at us when we turned the tap on. It was probably too old and the system was producing a loud screeching sound. I... more

Terry, the innkeepper makes you feel like it is "your" Bed & Breakfast. You will love the quaintness of this wonderful find. It is in the heart of downtown Charleston which allows your to walk everywhere, so you don't need to move your car. Smile! If you stay here, and don't like it, something's wrong with you. Every room has... more

We stayed at the King George IV B&B for 4 nights, and can't say enough good things about this inn! The room (we stayed in #5) was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and opened up to a wonderful veranda. The staff and owners were extremely helpful and friendly, and made sure all of our needs were met during our stay. The... more

We had a wonderful stay at King George IV Inn. Our room was beautifully appointed and spacious. Both levels of the inn have piazzas; the temperatures in the 70's gave us winter-weary Chicagoans the perfect opportunity to indulge in some early March sun worshipping. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs and either biscuits and gravy, or bacon and sausage. There were... more
