We arrived saturday night and stayed a Different b&b begins with E. which cost 442.00! April is high season. The room was very small(120sq ft), dark, and staff was robotish. The hotel next to us played music until 11pm which was not so bad but just to let you know. Sunday night we arrived here at the King George inn.... More

Our room was very nice, comfortable and very clean. Charlene made us very welcome and chatting with her was a great start of the day! The breakfast offering was good but the website is misleading - we never met the inn keepers (although they were on the property) and no sign of the morning baked goods! Charlene was wonderful to... My husband and I stayed here while in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run and were so happy with our choice! The inn is beautiful with wonderful historic architecture, comfortable beds and very clean rooms. The porches are so comfortable for enjoying the beautiful weather. The innkeepers and all of the staff that we met were so friendly and... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was tastefully modernized. The hot breakfast was a good way to start the day. During the day and early evening the outside noise was a distraction from time to time. I would consider staying again the next time we visit Charleston.

I recently visited Charleston and stayed at the King George IV Inn. My room was charming, (Room 5) and the staff was extremely friendly. The location is terrific for walking around the city. A true gem!

We just loved this inn! The staff is amazing, the bed was amazing, the room was gorgeous, the location was great and since they have a private lot, the parking was free. The room prices range enough to accommodate any price range desired too. We stayed on the top floor with a shared bathroom with one other room and the... More

The King George Inn was fantastic! Located in between Meeting and King St. it could not be placed any better in the heart of Charleston. All restaurants, bars and historic attractions are close by. Charlene (housekeeper) is super nice and will help you with anything and make recommendations for things in the area. We definitely recommend King George and enjoy... More

This was our first trip to Charleston. The trip was full of wonderful experiences but the highlight of our trip was Charlene. She got us situated quickly and had us on our way to exploring the city. Our room was very comfortable. We stayed in room 6 and took advantage of our semi private porch along with our little kitchen.... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the King George IV Inn in Charleston, and the real gem of the place is Charlene. She is warm and helpful -- I hope the owners realize how much she brings to the success of the inn. She clearly has visited most of the local sights and shared some particular details of various... Everything about the King George Inn is wonderful. Terry and the whole staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The inn is charming, spacious and beautifully and historically decorated. The location is great and we were able to walk everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.
