This was our third B and B we stayed in ten day trip. We both agreed it was the third best. However, it was still a very nice place to stay. The down part was it was surrounded by a college and other large buildings. It was noisy at times. It felt like were in the middle of downtown. But... More

We stayed in room 6 for three nights. The bed slept very good and the room was extremely clean and stayed that way during out visit due to great housekeeping. We were there from Friday until Monday and would recommend staying the weekend due to George Street seems to be a little loud early mornings due to people returning to... More

We stayed two nights at the King George IV Inn in Room 2 on the second floor. We loved it. The room is really spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the historic decor was charming. Charlene was a sweetheart and had breakfast ready for us each morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, english muffins). She also made great recommendations for food... More

While the owners were away the few days we stayed, we were very well looked after by Charlene, who was delightful. Breakfast was delicious, location was perfect for us, an easy walk to everything we wanted to see in Charleston.

What an amazing bed and breakfast and a great find! Charlene is the BEST! She is the epitome of southern hospitality. Upon our arrival she had mapped out all of the favorite places and had many suggestions for ways to view the city. She makes some delicious french toast, biscuits, and cheesy grits. YUM! That woman works her butt off... More

We arrived early, with only the hopes of being able to drop our vehicle off in the parking lot so we could go grab lunch nearby, check-in was supposed to be at 3:00pm... However Terry met us in the breakfast room and checked on the status of our room, and let us go ahead and check in early. We explained... More

This was our first visit to Charleston and we loved it. The location of the Inn is good - close to the visitor's center for tours, etc. and restaurants. Charlene provided spot-on recommendations for activities and restaurants.

This was our first trip to Charleston and the King George IV Inn was the perfect place for us to stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by Charlene, who had a map of Charleston for us and circled places or wrote down where she thought we would like to visit/eat/or shop. We could walk or take the free trolly... More

This B and B is the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Terry and Debra do I great job maintaining and speaking to their guests. They have that extra care and make you feel like your a part of their family. And when something (air conditioning) is not working they are on it as soon as possible. The... More

This is a 200+ year old house that has been lovingly restored by its owners Terry and Debra. We loved staying in Room 5 with a lovely sitting room and its own kitchen! Right off the room was a large porch where we could have our wine and appetizers in the evening and get the feel of what it was... More
