The Palmer Home is one of the original mansions on the Bayfront in Charleston. One of the Palmer family still owns and lives in the lower level of the home. Our stay here was amazing!!! The staff helped in every way possible to make a good weekend a great one. They helped arrange a private carriage to pick us up and tour the city. It was romantic, and a weekend filled with memories to last a lifetime. :o) more

Like any grand lady who has passed her prime and struggles to remain relevant the Palmer Home has seen her better days...A Bathroom that was old and rundown...Slideing toilet seat/Shower from hell/single sink was cracked and some mornings we were greeted by the bugs de jour crawling out of it!
