We had a reunion group of six couples at the Jasmine House Inn and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were beautiful and huge and the bathrooms were wonderful. The rooms had 14 foot ceilings with beautiful moldings and the antique furnishings fit in with the house and Charleston. The staff was most helpful in getting us whatever we needed.... more

We stayed in the main house on the second floor. The room was huge and well appointed. The breakfast was fine - mainly pastries, fruits, cereal, juice, and my favorite was the ham and biscuits. Every afternoon there was cheese, dip and wine. The patio in the back was very nice. I really liked the house. The only thing I... more

My husband and I travel extensively and have stayed at a number of beautiful historic inns in Charleston, SC. However, the Jasmine House is one that I would not recommend to my worst enemy!! The Jasmine House website is extremely misleading--because the room that you book is not necessarily the one that you will be given (Note: the hotel manager... more

I felt like we had our own private home in the heart of the ctiy. Our carriage house room was lovely opening onto the gardens. The location was so convenient to walk to everything and the parking was very convenient also. Will stay there again on next trip. more

I joined Trip Advisor to spread the word on this wonderful B&B. My friends and I booked the 3rd floor apartment as well as two rooms on the first floor in the main house. The gorgeous apartment has a living room, dining room, kitchen, master suite and private porch. The two other rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with very comfortable... more

My husband and I searched and searched for a good deal in charleston. Most hotels ran close to $300 but we got a great deal at the Jasmine Inn...$139 per night. Our room was in the Carriage House behind the Inn. It was very spacious, cozy, private, and clean. It had a cute courtyard in the middle with tables and... more

For once the website doesn't lie! The "Jasmine House Inn" has a beautiful main house, with spacious rooms tastefully furnished (with canopy beds under high ceilings, bathrooms are great, too!); and a "carriage house" in the back--similar rooms with semi-private porches, around a charming quiet green courtyard with garden chairs and a fountain. Breakfast (croissants, more pastry, fruit, eggs, juice)... more

This was an incredible experience. Right in the historic district within walking distance of everything. Nearby returants were excellent. We stayed in the carriage house and the room was quite comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. The staff was very knowledgable of events and places about the city and gave excellent advice on resturants and tours. I had never been... more
