We picked this inn on the internet and it looked great. Compared to our expectations, it was disappointing and a bit overpriced. On the plus side, our suite was huge, with two big rooms and a bathroom. However, both the furniture and particularly the bathroom was old, dirty and badly in need of refurbishment. Even though we did have a... more

Our room was huge, but we expected more for the price. A few of the problems: --We saw a sign offering an AAA discount, but when we asked about it, they told us it would have been offered when we made the reservation if it had been available -- but there was no place on the online entry form to... more

Fulton Lane Inn Charleston SC - Not a great Inn We have just spent a weekend at Fulton Lane Inn Charleston and although the Inn is in a great position there is better accommodation available. Unless sleeping is the most important thing on your visit do NOT book room 227 - it faces a wall about one foot away and... more

The Fulton Inn was a charming place! The staff was extra helpful with all of our requests. The room was large and roomy. It was very clean and the windows let in tons of light. We had the turndown service nightly which was loads of fun. Charleston was a wonderful place for us and we are looking forward to returning! more

Clearly, The Fulton Lane Inn was once grand. It is no longer. From the cramped, musty lobby (with the unfriendly concierge) to the industrial sized garbage can left out in the hallway near our room, this place seems to be living off its former glory. The room was spacious but nothing special. The "breakfast" delivered to our room was less... more

My new husband and I just returned from a quick honeymoon in Charleston and absolutely loved our stay at Fulton Lane Inn. Excellent location on King Street amongst all the antique shops and within a few blocks of dozens of restaurants, the Battery, waterfront, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our king room was charming, comfortable, spacious, and clean. We... more

We were booked into the Fulton Lane Inn by the Charleston Visitors Center after a horrible night at another hotel (large chain). We were given an incredibly low rate for a large King room with a charming canopy bed. The room and bath were spotless! The room view was bad, but after the awful night before all I really wanted... more

It had a nice atmoshpere and we enjoyed it a lot. Everything was clean and the staff cared about us. All in all, for the price we paid the Inn... more

Sheets didn't fit the bed -bottom sheet not fitted and repeatedly pulled loose. Suite with jacuzzi and decent water pressure. Extra room dark and windowless. Run-down, stained carpets. Continental breakfast was delivered to room as requested - limited pastries -but not bad. Wireless internet with very weak to non-existant signal (worked OK in lobby). Indifferent staff. Paid way too much.... more
