Sorry fot the late review - we stayed at the Vendue Inn for New Year's Eve last year and couldn't have picked a better place. The location is excellent - right on East Bay St. in the French Quarter where there are dozens of restaurants and bars very close by. Not to mention the Waterfront Park is just a few... more

We stayed at the Vendue Inn for 3 nights and had a great time. I thought the room was kind of small for the price we paid, but the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The Inn is in a great location. Each morning we walked down to the waterfront park to swing and watch... more

Althought the hotel is quite charming by appearance, it is located right next to some very loud pubs/bars that play music on the roof (directly across from our room) and lacks the proper insulation. As a result, throughout the evening and into the night we heard music blasting into the suite. To add insult to injury, the hotel management made... more

This is a great hotel. The location is perfect - lots of restaurants are within an easy walk and the gorgeous waterfront park is at the end of the block. The Market is just a few blocks away. I would highly recommend taking a carriage ride through the historic district. Our room was lovely - we had a small balcony.... more

I want to be careful what I write here, because I''m skeptical of many of the pans I read on Trip Advisor. (Many of those places can't be THAT bad.) At the same time, I believe you should approach the Vendue Inn with caution. My wife and I were somewhat limited on this trip by budget, so we had to... more

The Vendue Inn is a great place to stay! My husband and I stayed for one night in February. I had read a couple of other reviews on here, and I was a little worried that we wouldn't get any sleep (I had read a lot of complaints about the rooftop bar being loud at night). Fortunately, we stayed on... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel for Valentine's Day weekend. The concierge was kind enough to call me the week prior to my arrival and offer her assistance in recommending / booking any dining reservations and/or area activities. The concierge service definitely receive high marks from me. The rooms are typical for an historic inn, which means be... more

I am sorry to report that the Vendue Inn is not all I expected. On the plus side, if you like old inns this one is just that, old and charming. I thought it was very charming. The location is terrific. Too, the staff was friendly, if not terrible efficient. Now for the downside: My suite was very noisy in... more

Nice staff, good breakfast, but if you want to get a good night's sleep, go somewhere else. We listened to our neighbors (4 of them) have quite a night if you catch my drift, then at 4 am the staff forced the check out paper under the door and awakened us, then at 6 am the garbage truck outside emptied... more

Over-priced and not clean, noisy, staff was not helpful, paid extra for valet, but they kept losing our car.. Food unremarkable. Won't stay there again. more
