We were a guest of an owner. It was a great two night stay! Everyone was very accommodating. The concierge was very nice and helpful! She gave us lots of great ideas of things to do and places to go, being that it was our first time in Charleston. We had a great anniversary trip and will return again!

Old but classy. Has a great location. Would stay there again. Lovely courtyard to use in good weather. Suites with hardwood floors and comfortable furniture. Could be noisy in the summer though because our room faced the main street.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this "boutique" hotel nestled in downtown Charleston. It's definitely directly in the middle of the action. We've traveled to many different Bluegreen resorts with family and have enjoyed our stay at all of them. We hadn't stayed in Charleston before so I don't know how this hotel compares to others but it... More

Lodge Alley Inn is in a perfect location. It is within easy walking distance of many popular Charleston sights (the Market, Rainbow Row, Pineapple Fountain, the Battery) as well as restaurants & shopping. Our room had two double beds which were very comfortable with nice quality cotton sheets & many pillows. It was also nice to have a fridge &... More

I've been to a bunch of Bluegreen properties, and this exceeded my expectations. The location is incredible, in the old downtown. Restaurants , shops, and historic sights all within easy walking. We stayed for a week. Christine and the others at concierge were very helpful and honest. Gm Molly and the doormen treated us like family. We stayed in a... More

Wow!! This place is amazing. We checked in today and are already in love with this hotel. The room is beautiful and has so much character, from the original pine floors to the exposed brick walls!! The staff is wonderful and the valet man is so so sweet! I love that the hotel is right in the heart of town.... More

First, the negative: located on busy street and parking is either thru valet or parking garage (valet is cheaper and easier IF you plan on driving daily). The location is fantastic if you like downtown. Great shops and restaurants are all around! The ocean is a block away and historic "Rainbow Row" is only a few blocks down. Staff is... More

Clean, staff very nice and helpful. Gave us good advice on places to eat things to do. We were with large group the courtyard was a great place to meet at end of the day and spend time together. My motherinlaw loved going out there for coffee in the morning. It is beautiful in the courtyard. Will definitely go back.

Great location. $14 a day for valet parking is the only parking. Historic downtown. Walk everywhere. Trolley available nearby. There was an early heatwave and it was pushing 95-100 degrees the 2nd week of June. Prepare to sweat. Upstairs bedroom was a little warm for me, but I'm a 68 bedtime thermostat setting at home.
