This place grew on me! It is in the center of everything and hidden from sight. Don't look for views but the rooms are very comfortable . Modern conveniences in the very small baths and a huge canopy bed. Not much staff but the young men who helped with bags and such were polite and helpful. Charming place!

Great hotel in a perfect location on King Street. Gathered with nine classmates from HS. We had the best service here, and the staff was so accommodating. Very comfortable! A block or two from the market place, stores, and restaurants. The courtyard was perfect for breakfast and our gatherings morning and night. Continental breakfast included with homemade pastries!

Easy walk to anything in downtown Charleston. The room was simple, but very clean and had a comfortable four poster canopy king bed.
