Great location and charming B&B. I had the small room which was perfect for single old me and very good value and super comfortable beds. Breakfasts were awesome and served on the piazza! Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Charleston!!

My husband and I stayed at the Ashley Inn in the 3rd floor suite for his fortieth birthday. Our weekend stay was lovely. I was greeted with a smile upon check-in and a general overview of the home and its offerings. I was then escorted to our room. The room was clean and was equipped with its own thermostat. The... A really lovely B&B. Great location, within walking distance to a number of good restaurants - but a bit over a mile to downtown. The area ist quiet and house itself a beauty. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfy. We had our delcious breakfast outside on a really nice sunny morning - don't miss it! Parking is plenty available,... More

We stayed at the Ashley Inn back in May and could not believe how beautiful this place is. The Staff is outstanding and went above and beyond they duties. Breakfast was plenty and we always got what ordered.

Our first time to Charleston, there were 6 if us-3 couples, we thought a B & B would give us a more intimate experience of the southern charm of Charleston. We couldn't have made a better choice. The rooms were adorable, clean and comfortable. Off street parking was wonderful. The breakfast was delightful and tasty. The owner joined us for... More

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at the Ashley Inn this past week. It was a beautiful house with amazing breakfast. It is quite a hike from the "touristy" part of town and in hot weather was a bit of a chore. We ended up driving to most places. We stayed in Room 1 on the first floor. While... More

Thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately the mornings are the busy time for the kitchen and room 1 is next to it. We do try to keep quiet but never expect guests to be! We welcome you to come back in the future! Safe Travels! Lynn Mumau Chief Innkeeper More

When my girlfriend and I were planning a trip to Charleston, we envisioned staying in a nice old Southern B&B, and the Ashley Inn fit the bill perfectly! Apart from the beauty of the perfectly preserved house, the rave reviews of the food, and the location, we were also drawn to the property because we were only going to be... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in August. The B&B is quaint, reasonably priced, and had comfortable amenities. The breakfasts were very good. Complimentary wine and snacks in the afternoon was a nice tough. The rooms are comfortable and the Ashley has off-street parking, which is very important in Charleston. It is centrally located and only a few... More

Located within walking distance of the riverfront and lots of good restaurants. It was over 90 degrees when we were there, but in a little cooler weather, the walk would be easier. It was fun to walk by all the old homes. It's great they have a parking area in such a busy part of the city and the wine... More

Wonderful breakfasts. Helpful staff. Nice room with flat screen TV. Elegant house, circa 1832, well restored with modern amenities. Free parking onsite. Decent location in historic downtown. Great value for the money.
