Husband and I live in upstate SC, drive to Charleston and stay at days inn is a very affordable "vacation". We are absolutely in the heart of the historic district and can walk to everything. We love eating at Hymans and walking thru the market and the shops on King St. The Days Inn is comparable the other name chains... more

We stayed from Tuesday to Friday. Very happy with our experience. Would reccommend to anyone else. Great location within walking distance of market, harbor, etc. You can also ride the trolley for $5.00/day. Only motel that does not charge for parking. We had to park in parking lot next to motel and they reimbursed us for this expense no questions... more

Loved the location of the hotel, within walking distance to the historical area and market. Left our car in the parking lot while we were in town. However, I didn't love the noise- got woken up twice in the middle of the night by a drunk at 2 a.m. on the street below (and it was a Monday night) then... more

When we first opened the door to the room, there was a musty smell but we got used to it. The staff was friendly and courteous. We didn't notice noise from the street--only guests passing outside the door and window (all rooms are exterior). The room had a frig and microwave that worked well. I would say that the room... more

Although we only paid $125 a night on the weekend, I would have rather paid $200 to stay somewhere else. Don't count on getting any sleep here, because not only is the noise from the parking lot going to keep you up, but the bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. Everything in the room is dirty and/or falling apart. The... more

This hotel was great for the price. It did have it's con's. When we arrived, we had some issues finding a parking spot. However, once we did, we did not return to the car until we left. This hotel has a GREAT location. It's a 2 min walk to the market. We were down on a perfect weather weekend so... more

This hotel is in the middle of the historic district, it is old, but clean. You can park the car (for free) and walk the rest of your stay. Has a restaurant and bar on the property, both were above expectations. We will go back again and try to stay here. more

A comfortable stay, a clean room, nothing special but good for a one night stop off. Excellent location within walking distance of everything and free parking. The reception staff were a little grumpy when we tried to find some breakfast, however otherwise a good stay. more
