We stayed at this same hotel last July and our experience both times was exceptional. It is a beautiful hotel w/beautiful surroundings and a marvelous staff. We had a room w/a view of the marina and it was very relaxing. I really don't have any negative comments to make about this location, but if I had to come up w/one... more

We stayed five nights here and really enjoyed the hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. Eugene in the breakfast area is a great employee and VERY hard working. We were there with three children and they had a great time in the pool. The balcony from our room was a nice place to watch boats... more

This Marriott needs a bit more help with the room we (my fiance) and I stayed in. While the hotel has a beautiful lobby and poolside, our room was not that great. We had a non working desklamp, an alarm clock that had an issue with the volume and there was an obvious issue with the shower head. There must... more

The bed was comfy and the shower was awesome. Two-heads on the shower! Very pretty hotel. The room was huge, we had a kitchen area, living area and separate bedroom area. more

First let me say we stayed here for 1 week and got a rate ( termed long term stay) of $139 per night for a corner room water view with 2 balconies. Free parking and a pool w/ hot tub too. For that price, the hotel was great. We really wanted to stay in a downtown hotel that had a... more

My family stayed here for a couple of nights while we visited the historic district of Charleston. Our room was adequate for our stay, with the exception of lighting. We had stayed at another Courtyard on the same trip, and the room was excellent with a nice, very well lit workspace. All the lights in the Charleston room were very... more

The hotel is very nice looking from the outside and the patio with a view of the marina is fantastic. Staff was very friendly but not helpful. I asked them to call a cab one day in advance. The girl flipped a tablet over and wrote my name on the back. That night, I checked to see what she did... more

This is an upscale Courtyard. Nice view of the Marina and Large, pretty public spaces. Huge terrace overlooking the pool to the marina. What really sets it apart is the amazing staff. From check in to breakfast, everyone was very friendly and professional. Be aware that this is not walking distance to town. You will have to drive or cab... more

Okay, Okay so the entrance is a little confusing when you have been driving for hours and you don't see the sign that says "Check In". Other than that it is a very pretty little hotel with a great marina view (that you have to pay for) a lovely pool and patio area with comfortable furniture. Nice attractive reception area... more

Overall, a comfortable 4 day stay. The good: check-in staff was friendly and helpful; room had an excellent view overlooking Ashley Marina and River; bed was comfortable; self make coffee was excellent. The bad: cleaning service was barely adequate; wallpaper in bathroom peeling off of the wall; water stains on the ceiling thru-out the room; dirt in the corners. more
