Im writing this from my room at the Francis Marion. Besides having to pay $170. a night for a small, cramped room with a tiny bathroom that doesn't even have a space to sit my toiletries, I am being charged $10.00 a day for internet service. The location of this hotel is great and the room was a rather good size. However the room lacked warmth. It was just a regular hotel room in an old building. Even though Charleston hotels are generally expensive, this hotel was still not worth the price. The next time we are in Charleston we will definitely try another hotel. more
