We stayed here after dropping off my child at USC Columbia..... the room was clean, the shower hot, and a/c cold. Although we didn't use it, the pool was nice looking. This is by no means the Ritz. but, for the price and location I was very surprised. I've stayed at worse! We actually are staying here again in September.

I agree that you get what you pay for and when renting a pet friendly room you do tend to lower your expectations even at $20 extra for a pet fee. This room was truly disgusting. I expected old and outdated...don't mind that at all, however, that's no excuse for being unclean. The room smelled old and musty, the bathrooms...

I read all of the reviews and decided to give this place a try. I wouldn't give a hotel low stars just for being out dated, and that seemed to be the largest complaint. I also understand that you get what you pay for.

I needed a place to stay that allowed pets. I was traveling to Columbia for an agility trial with my dachshund. I initially was drawn to this hotel because it allowed pets and had a wooded area to walk them. I read the reviews and continued to search for a place to stay. For some reason I kept coming back...

First saw the Inn online . The pictures looked wonderful . Called and made our reservation by phone . When we got there the pool looked like green sludge . ( I know it is off season but it did not need to look like this . Checked in at the front desk . The person checking us in talked...

Front desk stuff was very rude when we ran into a situation with our reservation. The pool was in poor condition, as if no one had cared to maintain it during the winter (granted, it was still cool weather, but the water was neon green from algae). Room (and lobby) were very smelly. Linens were a bit dated but worked...
