This isn't so much a review of my most recent stay (I stay there very frequently), rather a general observation about the quality of the inn as a whole. I've been staying at The Beaufort Inn regularly for the past several years and over the course of the last year the service has just continued to slide downhill! Its really... more

Hmmm, I see the Inn has mixed reviews. Maybe it is because I am Australian and I am treated differently ??? but I found the staff helpful, polite and courteous at all times. I did not choose this hotel as I was with my husband on a conference so I did not do my usual background checking in advance. The... more

Don't be discouraged by the 6 out of 9 ranking... it just shows that this B&B has good competition in a city that prides itself on its B&Bs. The Beaufort Inn is quite charming, especially for couples. It has a great location, though if you're looking for a marshview or riverview, check somewhere else out. The restaurant is pricey, but... more

My husband and I stayed at the Beaufort Inn, Room 9, on April 23, 2007, our nineteenth wedding anniversary. We appeared at the front desk about 1:30 p.m. on the 23rd. We knew that check-in was at 3 p.m., but thought we might be permitted to check-in early. We based this thought on years of traveling where if we had... more

Although the inn is cute, it was nothing special. The overall experience took away from the charm of that property. There was alot of confusion about booking the room at the right rate. We had to call 4 times to verify that our reservation was correct and it was still incorrect when we arrived. The front desk person was not... more

We've just returned from a long weekend in Beaufort, spending an exceptional stay at the Beaufort Inn. Our room - the Hopewell Garden room - was in the garden cottage to the rear of the property and could not have been more perfect - the decor, the comfort, the amenities all added up to make our stay memorable. If you... more

My daughter and I booked this room for my husband and I, plus her and 3 grandkids. Initially, we booked a 2 bedroom cottage, but upon arrival they upgraded us to the loft apartment across the street from the Inn. WOW is our best description. A 2/3 bedroom unit of about 1,300 sq. ft. with full kitchen, lovely antique decorating,... more

I stayed at the Beaufort Inn for two nights on business, and I was incredibly impressed by the staff most of all. Not only was the actual hotel beautiful, but every member of the staff was kind and generous throughout the entire stay. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the hotel is right in downtown Beaufort close to... more
