We've been to the Larchwood Inn numerous times. We love the place, especially the staff. The food is great, especially the early bird special. Thay also have a breakfast special weekdays for just $1.49. The lounge, The Tam O'shanter, is nice and cozey and the bartenders are very personable, especially Mike, who is always accomodating. We LOVE the Larchwood Inn! Beautiful, clean, comfortable, quiet, gracious, close to the beaches, delicious food... what is there not to like? We always feel totally relaxed and happy after a stay at the Larchwood. I feel it's Rhode Island's best bargain! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! more

The rooms are shabby and way over priced. Food is just so-so. Staff is accomodating but only to a point. Call local Tourist Info for list of B&B's - anything is better than this - even the Holiday Inn up the road 10 minutes. Or better yet - Newport is 20 minutes away! more
