My husband and I just returned from our annual visit to Shamrock Farm Inn and each visit is so very special!! We always look forward to our time there and it's like we are visiting old friends! William is such a gracious host and makes scrumptious meals! We have stayed in three different rooms and all have been extremely nice... More

My fiancé and I stayed at the Shamrock Farm Inn for the second time a couple weeks ago. I could not have enough good things to say about the inn, the owner, the location, and the breakfast! William is a gracious host and an excellent cook. Himself and Tracy are quick to respond to and questions; as I'm sure they'd... More

We had a wonderful stay! Charming Innkeeper, made us feel special, great service, best breakfast...homemade muffins! Beautiful setting, pastoral & water views. Irish music filled the air. Gardens still in bloom. We will return.

This B and B has such potential, however, I couldn't get past the spider webs and spiders all over the room. Every corner, around the posts of the 4-post bed, beams, and rocking chair rockers. I don't think the room had been cleaned or dusted for awhile. All could have been remedied, if when I placed a call to the... More

Paid for room with "crackling fireplace". It did not work when we got there and the owner did not return out call about how to operate it. The room had cobwebs in the corners and a black spider that was crawling around the tub, as we tried to get ready for bed.. We never met the owner during our entire... More

My husband and I wanted to take an anniversary trip and see the sights near Newport, RI. This is the perfect B & B that has the best of both worlds...close enough to Newport to enjoy all of the nightlife, docks, boating, mansion tours, etc. that it has to offer, yet far enough away off the beaten path to enjoy... We booked the inn since it was close by to Greenvale Winery and their Saturday afternoon jazz band. We were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of the grounds and the inn. Cows grazed across the road and the flowers were in full bloom behind the inn. Breakfast was more than hearty ! There were amazing fresh baked muffins, eggs anyway... More

A beautiful inn, just a short drive from Newport. William and the rest of the staff are friendly and really make you feel at home. And the breakfasts are absolutely delicious. A very special place, and I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at Shamrock Farm for one night and really loved it. Our room was big, pretty, and comfortable. The bed was good and the sheets and blanket very soft. The curtains had stains on them as did the lampshades; hopefully they'll replace those...but it didn't detract from our visit. The shower was plenty hot and had great water pressure.... More

We felt right at home at Shamrock Farms. The inn is in a rural setting with a pretty pond and cows right across the road. There are flower gardens in the backyard near the breakfast room. The furnishings are interesting, quaint, and comfy. William, the innkeeper, is friendly and welcoming. He also makes a great breakfast! It is a wonderful... More
