I booked this inn based on the reviews here and was extremely disappointed. What I usually expect from a vacation place to make me happy are the following: a nice bed (comfortable and with high quality and clean sheets), a great shower, nice service and a room that looks good (at least as good as my home). At blueberry cove... more

I am sorry that the Hideaway Apartment Suite was not up to this guest's expectations. The decor may not be posh enough for TravelLover77 but most guests are content given the location, amenities and pricing. Like most weekly, self-catered rentals we do discuss the cleaning requirements when the reservation is made and provide a cleaning list on arrival. All guests...

My wife and I were staying at the Blueberry Cove while attending a wedding in Narragansett. The room was pretty and the amenities were fine. Seely, one of the innkeepers, was a pleasure. She was very gracious and accomodating. Two serious problems, however, prevent a good review and mean that we will not be staying in the Blueberry Cove again.... more

Although it is good to hear your positive comments I am sorry you had a bad experience. I wished the guest had asked about breakfast choices. For 10 years, as noted on our web site, our breakfast policy has been that we pick the menu but guests pick the time to eat (between 8 and 10). With a tiny kitchen...

We have been "B&B-ing" around New England and found this to be one of our favorites. Great location, lovely decorating (elegant, yet comfortable) and surprisingly comfortable bed! If you have aches and pains, this is the place to sleep. Excellent mattresses...was the best I had slept in several days, having been at several inns. The Blueberry Cove caters to the... more

I just returned home from a girls weekend getaway. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Blueberry Cove for the first time last August and loved it. We returned again for our second annual long weekend away. Dave and Seeley the owners are so friendly and attentive. I read a review about them not engaging in conversation with their guests... more

My husband and I have a wonderful history of Bed and Breakfast stays in the Narragansett area. I have been in the travel industry as a consultant for 25 years. We look forward to this vacation with two things in mind.,...the bedroom needs to have a sense of romanece & quality and the breakfast needs to be innovative & memorable.... more

The best gift a guest can give to an innkeeper is honest feedback on conditions we may have overlooked. This is why we are constantly asking guest if things are OK in the room or if there is anything we can do for them. We wish this guest had brought her concerns to our attention during her stay, rather than...

This was my boyfriend and I's first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was amazing! We stayed in the Glen Room (which wasn't my first choice, but quickly after sneaking into other rooms when the people left them hehehe became my favorite pick). The room wasn't too small for us, on the top floor and had AMPLE cross... more

My husband, Siser & I stayed here & LOVED it! The apartment was PERFECT for the 3 of us with plenty of room & a great fire place in the living room that we lit every night! We had our own parking area & own door for the apartment, which we all really appreciated. It's also located on a very... more

As a student at URI, I actually rented a room in this B&B, and loved it so much, I came back as a guest four years later! The owners are continually updating the rooms, so it was neat to see what had changed. We stayed in the Lighthouse Room, which was cozy and comfortable with the electric fireplace and the... more

The Hideaway Suite is an apartment that is physically attached to the Blueberry Cove Inn but is not really one of the B&B rooms. We stayed there for a week. Rate was pretty good ($1250/week) but be aware it doesn't include much except access to the apartment. Breakfast is not included and linens are supplied once for the week. You're... more

We try to make it clear on our website and when we talk to potential guests that the Hideaway Suite has two rental rates based on amenities provided. Both rates include telephone access, WIFI, cable TV and use of local menus, patio furniture, yard swings and other common area amenities. The weekly self-catered rate ($1250 or $179 per night for...

My friend and I had a great girls' weekend at the Blueberry Cove Inn. We don't share any of the opinions of those who gave negative reviews. Our room, the Seashore, was small, but very comfortable, and the private bath down the hall was spotless. One reviewer noted that anyone could use that bathroom, but we were told we could... more
