I have been camping at Fishermen's for almost 30 years due to the great location. The playground used to be nice 20 years ago but is in need of repairs. The shower facilities are disgusting and covered top to bottom with mold and mildew. They clean the toilets regularly but fail to clean the showers!

We haven't been camping in years. In a last minute spontaneous decision, we decided to camp in conjunction to our trip to the beach (Watch Hill Beach, about 25 mins away, highly recommend). The campsite was clean. Sites were very close to one another and small. Grassy area. We didn't experience any problem with mosquitos. There was a skunk however... More

Our family spent the last 3 days camping in tents at 5 different camp sites. We were lucky that our sites were altogether and large enough to get a tent into but I can't say the same for my in laws site which sat on a hill and had absolutely no where to put the tent. They stayed at a... More

We have been camping here with our family for 8years. Campground is clean, beautiful, the sites are a good size and affordable. We have made friend with other campers, it becomes a community. No Wi-Fi but that's what camping is about. The employees are attentive and friendly and best of all close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The only downfall... More

The park is well laid out and has smooth pavement throughout. Our pull through site couldn't be better. We have privacy, grass, nice fire pit and a picnic table. This park is definitely a value for what you get and is located near anything you would want to see in the area including Newport.

Just stayed a night in one of the tent sites, in area 3. Very nice, but the sites are very close together. Luckily, it wasn't busy, but if it was, it would have been cramped. This campground is not near the ocean. For some reason I thought it was right on the coast, but it is not. It is a... More

Awesome location. Such a clean place. Love it. Next year I'm going for 10 days. I can not wait! Wish it was easier to get a sewer spot, but those hard to come by. being so close the beach for $14 a night can't beat it.

This is the second year I have come here. This is a beautiful campground with spacious sites for RVs. Beaches and restaurants very close by. Woods and wildlife (birds, butterflies, rabbits) , large trees. No cable or internet but thats not what I come here for. Biking, hiking, fishing and clamming.

First time camper's at FMSP and Campground and I will say that, we'll be back! The location was perfect for us as we were only minutes away from the beaches, Galilee and a short drive to Newport. We stayed in area 4 with electric and water but, no sewer- we'll try to get in that area next time. The sites... More

Nice basic campground, could use some more shrubbery between sites, very difficult to get reservations. Bathrooms could be updated, but hey, its camping! The staff is always great. My only real complaint is the dogs. There are barking dogs in my home neighborhood, I would like to go away to relax an not have to hear them. Two of our... More
