Open only a couple of months, this is not a crowded restaurant. Right now it is a hidden gem. The menu is limited and a bit pricy, but the food is very well prepared and presented. The staff is very helpful. The salads are large enough to split. The shrimp cake in a rolled avocado was delicious. Flounder was perfectly... More

The Bistro has opened and it's not a disappointment. They offer a farm to table dining experience that is fantastic!! If you have been to their other location, Crazy Burger, it's easy to see why it's so good

This place is the old "Grinell Inn" they are now The Bed and Bistro. The B&B has a prime location it is about a 5 minute stroll to the wonderful beach and equally as close to the Coast Guard House since The "Bristro" portion of the business is not yet opened, but they are looking forward to its debut on... Hi, The bistro is now open and the menu can be viewed on our Facebook page. Bistro hours are Thursday-Monday from 5-9 pm. Reservations may be placed from our facebook page or by calling us at 401-284-3535. We are putting a smoky film over the window that looks out on the neighbors roof. Thank you for bringing that to our... More

The perfect base for my 3-day Narragansett vacation, and a true taste of New England for this Florida girl. I loved the quaint and eclectic spotlessly clean rooms, where I could open the windows at night and enjoy the crisp night air. The location is prime, just a couple of blocks from the Towers, the ocean, restaurants, and in the... More

Working in Boston for the week, my wife and I decided to stay the weekend in my old college town. A URI grad from the late 80's misses this place and I've found a new home. This place is perfectly located, the bed was very comfortable and a couple of minutes walk to the beach and equally important, the Coast... More

Everyone involved with the Bed and Bistro was extremely nice, helpful and hospitable. Great location with a short walk to the waterfront shops, restaurants and bars. Clean rooms. Great rates too compared to other locations nearby. I highly recommend staying here and also eating at the Crazy Burger on Boone Street!

Vacationed with my sister-inlaw and our four teenage boys. Grinnell Inn met all or our needs. Walking distance to Narragansett Beach, Rooms slept four comfortably which is hard to find in other B&B's, clean and newly renovated. Breakfast at the inn was fabulous. Ten dollar credit per person for breakfast which would have covered it if teenagers hadn't ordered double... More

Pluses, Bob, the owner was very accessible. The waiters/waitresses in the Riptide Restaurant which is in the B&B could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast was good. Rooms - Pluses - we stayed in the "Lighthouse" room at the top of the house. Very quiet, no street noise, even though it was facing the street. Nice and... More

If you are looking for a bed, and a breakfast, the Grinnell may be fine. But compared to many other B and B's in Narragansett that are on quieter streets, offer beautiful gardens, welcoming porches and living areas, and present and friendly staff, the Grinnell offers a parking lot off of a busier street, a hallway, and your room. Our... More

My family and I stayed for 3 nights. We were happy with the location, just a short walk to the beach. We did use a wagon for our daughter and all the sand toys. The room was clean, comfortable but kind of small. The owner was very pleasant and had many suggestions for local activities. Breakfast was inclunded which was... More
