We needed to check in early for a wedding and our room was in fine order when we arrived. #14 was very clean and attractively furnished with a pretty Oceanside color scheme and new, comfy beds. It couldn't have been fresher or nicer. Great shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The front desk (Christine) is charming and... More

Great little motel. The location is fabulous. We walked right across the street to the beach. Our room was a king bed room. Make no mistake, the room was tiny, but who cares? We just wanted to sleep, not hang out in the room all day! It was extremely clean and exactly what we expected. We had a little balcony... More

This is our first stay in Narragansett, RI and the Anchor Motel was chosen because of its location and positive online reviews. The location certainly did not disappoint as it is right across from a beautiful beach. The motel is a very small, family owned business and it is obvious that the owners take pride in their motel. The property... More

We stayed in room 14, which faces the beach, for 3 nights in early August, during the week.. The room was great for us, very clean and bright. And the hotel is right across the street from a nice beach. The owners were very nice, and accommodating. Luckily, the weather was great, (except for a quick-passing storm one morning). There... I'm so glad I found this little motel while searching for places to stay near both the Block Island Ferry and Newport. The Anchor is conveniently located right across the street from the beach and a short drive to several restaurants. Our room was extremely clean and I appreciate that they are as "green" as possible. The beds were comfortable... More

I can not praise the family that owns/manages this motel enough. This is a very clean, simple motel in a fantastic location across from the beach. If you want to visit the large state beach and the "towers", it's just a short drive farther down Ocean Rd. The beach across from the motel is great and we have gone to... More

This little gem never disappoints. The place only has 14 rooms or so and is family owned. Nice, clean rooms, right across a 2 lane street from the Atlantic Ocean, quiet location with a family who couldn't be friendlier. We love this place! And we'll definitely be back next month( if they have any vacancies)

We just returned from a short stay (3 nights). This was our first time and we weren't disappointed. The location is perfect...right across from the beach. You can wake up and see the ocean. I had my morning coffee while I sat outside of our room in the small sitting area. Coffee and donuts are provided by the staff every... More

This is a small motel directly opposite the ocean and has several convenient restaurant that I have recently reviewed for TA. The only thing that would spoil our weekend just did when it rained on Saturday and Sunday. Can't blame the motel for the weather but that is what spoiled it for us this trip.
