We stayed for a wedding weekend of Jul 31 / Aug 1, 2015. Had booked two rooms back in January... about $250. per room / per night. Arrived on Friday afternoon, after check in time to find that construction was going on in pool area. One of our rooms was RIGHT next to the pool (closed for construction). Our room... More

Me and my other half wanted to get away quickly so we paid the 275 a night pretty much for the centralness of the location. We were lucky to get one of the newly renovated rooms. I mean there was literally sheet rock crumbs on the floor and two chairs to put your suit case on. It is what it... More

I almost cancelled my reservation for a one-night stay with my wife and our two grandchildren after reading the reviews posted here, but I figured it was for only one night and decided to keep it. I am so glad I did! The man I spoke to on the phone when I made my reservation was at the desk when... More

I was here for a wedding last weekend and was not very impressed. The venue/hotel was previously called The Village Inn but is now named Aqua Blue. They were under construction and didn't do a very good job at hiding it. The wedding was on the upper deck which had a gorgeous view of the beach and coastline, but the... More

This hotel is undergoing a renovation and the name is changing to Blue Aqua (i think). at $275/night it was underwhelming. the new bed and headboard were ok as was the tv. the rest of the furniture was beaten up old motel furniture made of formica. disposale plastic cups for water and a meager instant coffee set up. I know... More

Odd place. Changed names and we had no idea. Under construction and dirty. TV never worked (we did get reimbursement towards it), small dresser, no place to put clothes. Fridge/no micro/no hair dryer/no clock or radio. However, we never used the car, able to walk everywhere which was more important!

Really odd place…my children stayed here during a wedding. Their room was above the main reception room and the grandchildren were blasted with music in their room until after 10 pm. The room was also odd, the strangest choice of sink I have ever seen, like something from a Jetson's tv show, and not very functional. We also had friends... More

My daughter had her wedding at the Village Inn 3 years ago and while it was an older hotel it was ok. Now after renovations I found it a joke and would never go back again. Upon arrival the were no dressers until I asked the desk to get one so we could unpack. The bed was comfortable but we... More

I spent the weekend of July 24th at this place. It appeared that it was still going through a renovation and what had been renovated was done by very poor workmanship. My room was very dark as I only had a glass door leading out to a one person balcony for light. I've never stayed at a place that didn't... More

My husband and I are not high-maintenance; as long as a room is clean, comfortable, and quiet, we are perfectly happy. Unfortunately, Village Inn (now Aqua Blue) was none of those. In town for a friend's wedding, he suggested VI/AB in early 2015 because of its proximity to the event, but online reviews were poor at best. While late winter... More
