My husband and I were married just down the street in May 2014 and had a block of rooms here and at a hotel down the street...the majority of our guests opted to stay here as it was within walking (or stumbling) distance from the wedding reception. The hotel is not great...it's apparent that it needs some TLC...I would have... More

We were in town for the annual Blessing of the Fleet road race and seeking a place as close as possible to the site of the race. The Village Inn certainly fit the bill, since it's located opposite the finish line. We were pleasantly surprised about the room. It was very clean, had a nice bed and large bathroom, with... More

Wow! The Village Inn is located across the street from the oceanfront. Once you cross the street from the inn, you can take a nice walk on the beach or on the sidewalk adjacent to the beach. When we entered the hotel lobby, we were not that impressed by the inn. That is, it is dated. We were greeted warmly... More

We had most of the rooms booked for our daughter's wedding. It's clean. Convenient to the lovely area of Narragansett. Has a restaurant on site w outside seating and bar. Water view rooms are nice. It's an older hotel that could use some indoor painting, but I would definately stay here again. They have an indoor pool. Fridges & microwaves... More

We stayed at the Village Inn for our daughters wedding. The location of the hotel was perfect. I could not ask for a better location. It was within walking distance to The Towers. Unfortunately, my first impression of the hotel was poor. The main lobby was in much need of new decor and remodeling. The lobby was dark, poorly lit... More

We stayed at the Village Inn for my sister's wedding. The staff was helpful, the view and location was amazing but the rooms were not clean or keep up with. For the price the rooms should be more then spotless. We had stains all over the carpets, the walls needed paint desperately, the ceilings were dirty and stained, and the... More

The staff was not so friendly the first night. I booked a room through a website and couldn't see what kind of view I was paying for. Good thing though: it was the quiet side of the hotel, away from the bar. I asked for a change of room and was denied. After a couple of days we decided to... More

Last weekend my friends and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. We had a blast. Although the hotel is a fairly large size facility, the rooms were cozy and comfortable. I was happy to see that the rooms are well appointed (I LOVE the floor tiles in the bathroom) with the necessities that make vacationing comfortable like a... More
