the hotel was clean and comfortable with plenty of free parking. the outdoor patio bar over looking the beach was very casual.I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and continental breakfast every morning also the ease of going to Newport and Block island ferry. Village Inn is a simple beach hotel - nothing fancy; but very clean, perfect location, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Love this hotel! The staff is absolutely fantastic and the views are amazing. We were shooting a TV show in Narragansett and had crew members staying at the hotel for over 3 months. I booked a room for a weekend, we were participating in a 5K that the Hotel was sponsoring. It looked so lovely on the web, I made it a long weekend. We took a chance and stayed here even though some of the reviews were bad.
