The owner is a nice, friendly individual. The upstairs room we had white walls which reflected the brightness of the white LED lights even with the blind down. Confusing midnight with daybreak. When daylight does arrive be prepared for the kennel chorus of yapping, barking, and woofing dogs. The owner would be well advised to take one of his properties... More

We stayed at the recently acquired motel across the street so we had the pleasure of looking at the pink-ness of the Sea Shell Motel -- and we had a kitchenette, although I was ill prepared for it. Short walk to the beach!

I enjoyed 2 nights at the sea shell motel. beds were very comfortable, microwave & refrigerator in very clean room. Shower is very small but manageable. Plenty of towels to use. Chris the manager is very sociable & nice. I wish they had coffee in the room or the office, I really missed my morning coffee.

Hi, thank you for staying with us and for your kind words. We are small, a lot of people point that out. The building was constructed in the 60's, and moving walls and plumbing around would be difficult, with not much benefit. We try to make the most of the space that we do have in the rooms. There's a... More

I walked in to my room and hello 1987!.... what a flashback to the beach hotels i frequented as a teen. The low ceiling, postage stamp size bathroom, and spongy soft dbl beds! BUT...i give 4 stars because this is what it is and no pretenses are made otherwise! If you are looking for a family run beach hotel that... More

The rates are comparable to other other hotels in the area. Very clean rooms and the staff goes out of their way for anything that you need. The owners were there doing repairs from Katrina and they were very pleasant to talk to and helpful if you need recommendations for local attractions. Kuerig coffemaker in the office for the morning... More

This motel was the most conveniently located for our family get together. We were there off-season so the rates were reasonable. It is a small, pet-friendly motel which is open year-round. It is about two blocks from the beach and backs onto the Winnepaug pond. The back yard has picnic tables, grill and kayaks etc you can use. Staff is... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our motel, and I'm glad that you had a nice stay. I tell people that September is quite possibly the best month to stay in Misquamicut because the crowds are gone, the weather is still great, and the prices are lower! I am troubled to hear that your room was not cleaned every... More

There are a lot of very good things to say about this motel: the rates are affordable for the area, the staff is super friendly and helpful, it is very clean and close to the beach. The backyard abutting the bay is beautiful, with picnic tables, a sand box and three lounges. You can also use a sunfish, kayak and... More

Affordable rates, basic rooms, close to beach. BBQ and yard to play in, helpful staff. It is small, in the midst of renovations, and dog friendly. Lots of dogs, and smokers. But our room smelled fine.
