Just returned from a one week stay at the Winnapaug Inn. We orginally booked a four day stay; but we were so pleased with the Inn that we extended three more days. The owners (Antonio and Anna), and their two grown children (Maria and Nunzio), operate the Inn and adjoining Venice restaurant. Upon entering the suite, I was surprised to... More

Due to some reviews, I was a bit apprehensive, but boy were we surprised how wonderful it was! We loved it! The rooms were large & spacious (Deluxe Queen Room) which overlooked the little golf course. The whole place was clean as a whistle! The heated pool was so much fun at the end of the sandy day at the... More

I took my mom who is a senior citizen and my 16 year old daughter. We loved the pool and the fact that our room overlooked the gold course ( ask for a room in the back). we even saw a coyote walk on the course. The hotel has a nice simple free bar ba que on Tuesday nights and... More

We called last minute for a reservation on a Saturday night in July. They had an opening and it was not pricey at all for last minute. Nice heated pool. Only problem was the food at the restaurant was horrible and the bartender acted like we were bothering her during the whole meal. We ate at the bar upstairs in... More

This was a perfect choice for my son & I! Great location, very clean, beach passes a BIG plus & beautiful flowers! The owner takes great pride in her place, treat her with respect, like your mom, and she will take good care of you! :) Went to Watch Hill and had a FABULOUS dinner at the Ocean House (my... More

My family stayed at the Winnapaug Inn, initially booking a three-day stay. After geting discouraged from the reviews, we shortened it to a one day stay, and I have to say I'm glad we did. The rate was almost $400 a day, booking last minute, but it was easily worth $100. We are a beach-loving family, so we checked in... More

We have stayed at the Winnapaug Inn two years in a row. The prices are comparable to other hotels in the area. But this offers clean, sand-free rooms, with a swimming pool and shuffleboard. The inn provides a free parking pass to local beaches which is a huge savings. A continental breakfast is served daily. (english muffins, muffins, cereal) On... More

I booked this hotel on a very hot weekend on the morning we were driving to the area...the price and accommodations were very good considering our last minute booking. It is a bare bones type of place but has clean, spacious rooms (we got a room with double beds) with nice bathrooms...and there is a bonus little balcony (the screen... More

Stayed at the Inn for two nights. The positive: The room is basic, but clean. Location to the beach is fine - a very short drive. The barbecue on Tuesday evening was great - cheeseburgers/hot dogs with fresh lettuce and tomatoes - on the house. The negative: The personnel at the front desk are not friendly and warm at all.... We found this place three years ago and has all the amenities that you really need. It has ample parking, a beautiful clean pool, elevator and balconies, with an excellent restaurant (The Venice) on their property. Being situated a few minutes from the beach, church, and shopping makes the ideal vacation get away !!!
