We stayed at the Winnapaug Inn 9/5 to 9/8 and we had a great time. The room was spotless (yes it is dated but who cares, I'm there to enjoy the outdoors), we had a nice view of the golf course, the pool didn't have a speck of dirt on the bottom. The woman that owns it does walk around... More

Stayed 1 night and did not have 1 problem.. i even asked for an upgrade for no extra charge and they gave it to me.. the woman that is "lurking around" is the owner and apparently the person that felt that it was weird has never been to Europe.. I felt she was very welcoming and personal. if you do... More

Booked 2 rooms On Hotels.com for monday and tuesday nights. The advertised rates on the hotels brochure were $139 per night. However we were charged $179 per night, which was the weekend rate. Asked the clerk to correct the charges, but when we got home we discovered that we were overcharged by $179. A call to my credit card company... More

This place is not worth it. This woman, who I believe Is the owner, is always lurking about. We opted for a suite and it was roomy but very outdated .the plumbing leaves much to be desired. It was almost comical because everytime we turned around this woman was behind us. We needed extra toilet paper and she was counting... More

Was quoted $89.00 for the night and when I checked out they billed my card $147! I told the clerk at the desk I was quoted $89.00 and was told they gave me a suite. I didn't ask for a suite especially when I didn't check in until 1 am. They gave me back a credit of $45.00! Not even... More

Guest was inadvertently given a Jr. Suite at a rate of $129 + tax=$145.77. Upon check out it was determined that the guest had been oringinally quoted $89 + tax=$100.57 for a standard room. This was a human error that was corrected at the time of checkout. This was explained to the guest and the guest was refunded $45.20 (that... More

We stayed at Winnapaug while attending a wedding in the area. Clean, comfortabe rooms and quiet, we have stayed on the beach but usually noisier. They have a grassy area which leads to the pond. We were able to take in the scenery on a great sunny day.

Don't expect much, but for the $157 per night off season rate, we'd for a bit more. Truth is, it was the only game in town at this time of the year. A bare-bones experience, no shampoo or conditioner, fairly stark furnishings, a clunky-noisy elevator, front office didn't open until after 7:30 am. If we have to go back to... More

Expecting something with a bit of charm or even a view, we were disappointed. Memories are of cinder block walls in the halls and parking lot views. No special comforts. Basic and overpriced. No breakfast. Not even coffee in the reception area.

We strive to provide comfortable accomodations and are sorry to read that your recent stay with us was disappointing. Most of the rooms do face the golf course and yes, some of our rooms do face the parking lot. However, at the edge of the parking lot there is a recreational area with lawns, gazebo and pool. The cinder block... More

Was in town for a wedding. The property is lovely, but the rooms/facilities are antiquated. Bedding and carpet were dingy and the room felt damp. There were no lights in the stairwell nearest our room. It was not a nightmare, but the quality was what I'd expect from a 2-star/much cheaper hotel. We've been told that most of the hotels... More

We decided at last minute to visit Misquamicut. Tried calling a few places in Westerly and they were either booked or quite expensive. We were able to get a room at the Winnapug Inn. They were alittle pricey, but since it was only for one night, I figured what the heck. We had a very nice room overlooking the golf... More
