The hotel was fairly clean but I felt the front desk staff was forcing themselves to be friendly. The biggest disappointment for us was that the hotel advertised free high-speed wi-fi but we could not get any wi-fi at all. The man at the front desk that night seemed to be extremely uninterested in the fact that my husband had... More

Stayed here for a couple nights for a weekend trip to Rhode Island. We had a comfortable stay. The room and bathroom were clean, the needs were comfy. Overall it was as expected. The only thing is that we inadvertently turned the ac on before going out and the room had a bad smell when we came back. Luckily, the... More

This weekend we stayed at this hotel for a wedding and were extremely unhappy. When we entered it, you could smell a strong smell of perfumed sanitizater throughout the hotel covering up the dampness etc. As we checked into the lobby, the pool was next to the counter and there was a strong smell of chlorine. The first room we... More

For the very high price of a nightly rate of $279, I was disappointed. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. However, We were unable to connect to their "high speed internet." When I inquired at the desk, the young man said he would reset it and to try again. Jesse said they were having problems. I mentioned the... More

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Newport. Location to Newport is perfect. The hotel is ok. Rooms are small and there is a busy road in front and a parking lot for a restaurant out back. Our room was clean, bathroom floor dirty. 2 double beds but the a.c. unit blows directly on to the head of the person... More

This hotel is relatively close to some nice restaurants, but crossing the street to get to them is very risky. The Atlantic Beach Club and KJ's Pub and Tickets are all nearby but scary to get to. The accommodations were okay, nothing to write home about but satisfactory. Our room at two double beds, and it was pretty cramped. The... More

I've been here once before, and this was a less satisfactory stay. One of the key things was NOT being treated here like I was at a Comfort Inn in Ocean Shores, Washington recently. At the WA motel, we were given a complimentary upgrade when they had the room (we're Choice Privileges members). At this one, they did have one... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night while attending the Grand Reopening of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Just really needed a room and didn't want a B & B, or an expensive place. I'm an Independent Sales Rep, so trying to keep my costs down! The location is away from downtown Newport, so you can't walk to the... More

The hotel itself was merely adequate. The room was clean. No frills. Bed, desk, TV and bathroom. However, the solicitation said we would have a fridge and microwave but there was none in our room (330). The cost of the room was astronomical. This was a special rate for the guests of the wedding we attended. The special rate was... More

We just spent three days here. It is centrally located, a mile to the Cliff Walk, a short drive to Bellevue Ave. Mansions, and historic Newport. Very nice staff. Breakfast was as expected. Very reasonable.
