The house staff here was fantastic. Helpful and polite. The rooms have the Old Feel and Decor of an old sea house. Extremely quiet rooms and just felt, well, plain old comfortable staying there. Downtown Newport just minutes away (learn the back street to downtown) close to stores for food and sundries. I would not hesitate to stay there again. more

We will NOT be returning to this hotel again. Very overpriced, terrible breakfast (it shouldn't even be called a breakfast). Certainly not like what it sounds. Problems with wi-fi connection in the room. Drab decor in the room. Non-working shower. The only thing it catered for was a bed to sleep in. more

The title says it all. Not much to say except the beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and the price was right. more

We stayed here for two weeknights in early June and found it to be a nice small inn. Very convenient to Newport and better value than virtually anything in Newport. An added plus was microwave and refrigerator in the room. Continental breakfast has limited choicess, but that's about all I can say that isn't positive. more
