We took a much needed trip to Newport for a week and half. This hotel was the best possible solution. ALthough I can hardly believe it, it was cheaper than the downtown properties some of which I have stayed in for business. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the entire hotel had been redone and the quality is... More

We had an absolutely great time at this hotel. Tyrell at the front desk could not be nicer. We signed up for a regular room on the historic side, but we were offered the option to upgrade to a larger room on the historic side with a water view. After looking at both, there was no question that it was... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Newport Beach Hotel, in the historic inn part of the establishment. Our room, 362, was clean and a little quirky the way rooms in historic buildings can be sometimes. Our bathroom as tiny, but with a decent sized middle room that included a table w/2 chairs, fridge, microwave and in-room... More

We stayed in the historic section of the hotel and found the room to be very clean with a wonderful view of Easton's (1st) beach. The bathroom was a little small and the door was on a spring so that you had to prop it open if you wanted to air out the steam after showering. Parking was easy and... More

Newport was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the old building. Quite small, but nice. The indoor pool/ spa was great. Close and accessible to downtown Newport. Would return to this hotel and stay in the newer building, much larger suites.

We came to the hotel with another couple, our three kids and their two so we are a pretty big crowd. We were able to get suites next to each other and they are just fantastic. The pool is pretty small but it was great for the kids and had a nice view for us. We were also able to... More

I don't usually have much to say about the hotels I stay at for sales calls but this hotel was great. My room was on the historic side and was very large. I was able to sit on the outdoor deck with my laptop and get a perfect internet connection. The abc breakfast sandwich I had before my meeting was... More

The location was fantastic - right across the street from a great, popular beach and a stone's throw from the Cliff Walk and mansions. It's a little ways to downtown but walkable. The hotel was great, with a nice indoor pool (we went 3 times and didn't see anyone else in there) and a great rooftop deck and hot tub.... More

We stayed in the historic part of the hotel, second floor, facing the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised with the view out our windows to the ocean and that the room had a hot tub looking out to the ocean! We booked this hotel without knowing anything about the Newport area.. the prices and ratings seemed reasonable, and we certainly... More

We just truly enjoyed our stay here. The service was wonderful. Girls at front desk did everything to accommodate us. We asked to change rooms after the first night. It was in the historical part of the hotel, very nice room just preferred a larger room with a kitchen. They set us up in the new building and what a... More
