The Inn was old and dated, they tried to up date the rooms but it just didn't cut it. The road in front of the Inn is noisy especially during the week. The Suites though were perfect clean, comfortable, quite, comfortable, roomy, and the bathroom was lovely. Especially the bath tub. The indoor pool was very attractive, and the roof... More

Hello, I think you have the wrong hotel , because the Newport Inn now the Quality Inn is not near the water it is 3 miles from the water. I am the old owner , we sold the Newport Inn over a year ago. The new owners converted it to a Quality Inn. I wish the best for them .... More

I booked this under choicehotels as a Quality Inn with an indoor pool. Upon arriving, a bit of disappointment came over us. The pool looked like it was not indoors and not open. Looked like the hotel was closed. However, it was open and we checked in. I asked the woman at the front desk about the pool. She said... More

Pictures are not realistic! This hotel doesn't even have a sign. Can't believe the Choice Hotels has their flag on this dump! Stayed here Friday night and got in late after the town rolled up. Had it been earlier we would have left and stayed elsewhere and forfeit our payment here. Place wasn't remodeled by any standards. Lobby smelled of... More

Very disapointed with the position of this hotel, being called the newport inn we expected it to be in Newport not 10 min drive away, very limited for restaurants and apart from a walk along the beach nothing to do, The room and bed were very small compared to all other standared rooms we have stayed during our visits to... What a dump for just being done over. Bathroom was so small you had to back up into it to use to toilet. The TV did not work at all. The light over the bed was missing a bulb and the switch was broke right off. The beds were made of memory foam and some else left a great impression... More

This is the most disgusting, dirty hotel I have ever stayed at. Their are health code violations: 1. Food handled by worker's bare hands, same dirty cloth that was used to wipe the table was used on the floor. 2. Mouse droppings in breakfast area found when picking up a dropped spoon. 3. Pool was so...........disgusting! No chlorine, something "brown... More

My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend trip to Newport and decided on this place because of the jacuzzi in the room. I was kind of worried because of the horrible reviews this place had gotten, but we took a chance and booked it anyway and we had a pleasant stay. We paid 180 a night for the... More

This hotel is horrible! The staff is worthless, the accommodations are dirty, the shower is a joke! We stayed for a wedding 8/24/13 for two nights. During the second night the front desk called at 1:30am "just to check to see of someone was in the room." Then suddenly the door swung open and a drunken belligerent patron had been... More

The signage was confusing, and the entrance was like a labyrinth to access. Our room was not yet ready when we arrived at 4pm, but our housekeeper was accommodating enough to let us into the room while she finished cleaning. Although this takes away from some of the allure of entering a fresh room, it allowed us to get to... More

Booked this as a last second one night stay, it was a Saturday in September so as you'd imagine there wasn't much for same day availability in Newport. I wanted to check out before I checked in. I would have been better off sleeping in my car (And $200 richer!). The place is a pit, the design is almost indescribable.... More
