We had a brief 1 night stay over in Airlie beach at the Flametree Tourist Village. We stayed in a family villa that had enough beds for 6 guests. The room was large and comfortable, the shower was awesome with great flow. The park grounds were very neat and well presented with a very nice pool area. The reception staff... More

We read the reviews beforehand so were prepared for the airport noise but it honestly didn't bother us. Beautiful shaded sites with lots of garden foliage which is well maintained. Great Wednesday night roast dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge as well as tour booking. Booked for 2 nights but stayed for 5 so that is how... More

We set up on the powered site allotted to us for our 3 night stay, near the front of the park. We found the setting on the lower sites well appointed, shady and close to the clean amenities. The upper sites on the Shute Harbour end of the park where we were are quite exposed but OK. However, the noise... More

The great majority of our customers & ourselves regard the airport as a feature with minimal noise. The road in front of the park is busy for an hour from approx 7am & from 5-6.30pm with workers going to & from the islands. Sorry but we are often complimented on the quietness of the Park particularly at night. No highway!!... More

We have never stayed in a caravan park previously and we stayed here because there would be an informal get together of ex Naval Apprentices here. We booked a cabin and didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The cabins are a bit tired and weren't designed too well (not the current owners fault) but there has been... More

Having traveled up and down the east coast staying in caravan parks all the way, we found this one fantastic. Shannon and her parents went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.I was impressed with the level of hygiene and the weekly spit roast and entertainment that was put on once a week, and which happily coincided... Thankyou for the review and we are glad you enjoyed the spitroast and also the fire twirling that we have weekly on Wednesdays. We are family owned and operated and do strive to provide the best service and cleanliness so it is great to hear we are hitting that mark. The Brownes More

We stayed there one night at a powered site and payed 36$. The park is really nice, considering all the nature around it. Exept for the airport, which is 200m with lots of noise... Pool is nice, toilets/showers too. Wifi is unlimited and free, works only close to the reception.

This caravan park certainly has it being right next door to Whitsunday Airport where small, noisy aircraft and helicopters take off and land all day long from early morning. We didn't see any reference to this in any of the advertising. So is you're planning on relaxing and sleeping-in go somewhere else. The amenities are old and tired, though the... More

We (&most of our customers) regard the airport as a plus - bit of noise through the day & no noisy neighbours at night. As you obviously use "Trip Advisor" you will note, that when you go to our site the is a diagram clearly showing the airport. Some sites may have a slight slope & I think you'll find... More

We stayed in one of the units with 6 beds. For 2 it was big enough. Room was ok for one night, bathroom and kitchen dirty, everything a bit shabby, run down, not cleaned properly, not a place to feel comfortable, bed not comfortable at all, refrigerator is extremely loud. Ironing board stored in the toilet - disgusting and not... More

I must reply as we don't agree with your summation. While the buildings are old, in recent years we have re-tiled them completely, installed new bathrooms & kitchens & complete new bedding. We have often been complimented on the bedding (see other reviews) & as part of our homework in replacing the old beds we confirmed that these beds were... More
