Stayed here over Labor Day Weekend and loved it. The owners, Lisa and Rusty, are very warm and welcoming. Although we weren't able to make it in until late (2AM) the first night, the two of them made sure we would be able to find our room easily and left the light on for us. It is not a proper... More

This was the most comfortable stay imaginable. Owners Rusty and Lisa are enormously hospitable and helpful. My husband and I stayed in the Twin Room, with lovely view of the waterfront. The room was clean and comfy. Lisa’s breakfast offerings are delicious: a homemade bread, yogurt, some fruit, coffee and tea. It’s an intentionally light breakfast; if you want more,... More

Was there for 3 nights in the twinn bedroom, neat, clean and peaceful. i can agree with the comments of Badger 2773 written on trip advisor. i must add that Lisa makes a delicious sweet bread, I would have eaten the whole piece. We also had the opportunity to sample Lisa"s Thursday"s only breakfast she make for a group for... More

Our daughter just got married in Jamestown on Saturday and we stayed at here for the weekend. The rooms were decorated nicely, they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room did not have air conditioning but the window fan was perfect, brought in the cool outside air. Rusty and Lisa were very nice always asking checking to see... More

We recently stayed at Lionel Champlin Guest House for the Newport Folk Festival. It was in a great location with just a short ferry ride to Fort Adams Park. Rusty was nice enough to run and get us a deal on some ferry passes. You can clearly see that Rusty and Lisa take pride in their B&B. They are a... More

I really don't want to praise this lovely inn, because the rest of the world will know about Rusty and Lisa and the Lionel Champlin Guest House, but this really is a fantastic place to stay with accommodating hosts, comfortable guest rooms, ample places to sit down with a book and relax, and a convenient location away from the frenetic... Recently stayed here for the Jamestown Half Marathon with my friend. We stayed in the twin bed room which was adorable! Made us feel like growing up again. We both made several comments to each other about how immaculately clean the bathroom was. Rusty and Lisa were so nice and welcoming, something you don't often get coming from New York... More

What a nice place this is! Rusty and Lisa are super-nice, everything is immaculate, the beds are extremely comfortable, everything you might want or need - breakfast pastry, fruit and tea all day, books, games, walk to town yet a quiet neighborhood, etc. I really can't think of enough nice things to say. My only concern is that too many... More

We stayed at the guest house last weekend and loved it. Our bed was so comfortable we wanted to stay in it all day! The room (Blue Room) was attractively decorated and featured 3 arm chairs, 2 full bookcases and lots of historic charm. Private bath was super clean with fluffy towels and a tiled shower. Fresh coffee & treats... More

I was in Jamestown for my college roommate's wedding. The Lionel Champlin Guest House was absolutely perfect. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I felt like I was staying with family. The house is beautiful. Great value! The room was perfectly nice. Hot showers, soft towels, and cozy sheets. And maybe a friendly ghost or two. :)
