Great family campground. We checked in late and found our passes attached to the office door and felt welcomed. The only recommendation I would suggest are the camp rules attached as we did not know was the "lights out" time.

Thank you very much for leaving a review. I am sorry that a staff member could not meet you and escort you to your site but I am very happy that you easily found your way. The camp rules are printed on the reverse of the campground map and our quiet hours are from 11pm to 9am. However, we only... More

We stayed at whispering pines for 4 year now. Since the new owners took over it went down hill fast. The paved roads are not so paved. There is no activities ever going on. And there is a lot of drunk driving going on golf carts. I seen a guy on a motorcycle get ran over. One last thing is... More

Mr. Cheney, This is a forum for guests to leave actual reviews of the property not a place for angry discourse and misinformation. Because of repeated noise complaints and other issues, you and your family were asked not to return to our property. We are committed to keeping Whispering Pines a family campground and will not stand for aberrant behavior... More

This place was great. We stayed there while taking the kids to a hot air balloon festival nearby. The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly, everything was clean. Our only two complaints were the playground wasn't really, it was an old swingset and the fishing pond was unfishable due to extreme weeds and also because it's the same small... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us! We hope you enjoyed the balloon festival, we were not able to make it over this year but we had many campers return with great reviews. We hear your two complaints loud and clear. We actually have three small playgrounds on the property and we are in the planning stages of updating... More

Over all the camping trip was good. Only few minor things I would like to address. First is the playground down by the pool could be updated, the rungs used to go up the ladder two were broke off, there was a big metal pole that was just laying on the ground that was kind of dangerous. Other older kids... More

I was asked to babysit my 3 very active Grandkids for 5 days while their dad went to New York on business. I live in the city in a small apartment, no place for kids to be for 5 days. Someone suggested I take them away. Sounded like a good time to make some "Grammie Memories" with them. I wanted... More

We camped in a tent, my girlfriend and I. We are from the Detroit area. We are grad students getting ready for major phases of training. Our purpose of the trip was to be near the coast and study. We needed wifi and this campground had it available throughout the facility. The wifi was not perfect, as it did get... More

After 5 years of going to RV Camping shows my wife and finally I decided to take the plunge buying a Keystone Montana fifth wheel coach and placing it in Whispering Pines Campgrounds as first time seasonal campers. This was the best thing we could have done, Cameron and Justinn, the owners, are absolutely the best owner couple we could... More

Hadn't been to whispering pines in 9yrs, WOW what a difference, staff extremely friendly, as well as the seasonal campers. You can see new owners are making many changes and upgrades. Kids had a great weekend. Bathrooms are very clean, compared to the last stay 9yrs ago. Had such a pleasant stay we booked 2 more camping trips before we left.

Plenty to do for the kids. Very friendly staff. Camp sites were in great condition and very clean. Will definitely go back. Only complaint was having to go across the whole campground to get to a bathroom.

Great being back at Whispering Pines. Cameron and entire staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Facilities upgrading and cleanliness was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back. One suggestion - Completing installation of mirrors (one long mirror or individual mirrors over sinks in men's rooms would be helpful. The men's room closest to my sites (in W area) didn't have...
