My partner and I stayed at this beautiful B & B for our anniversary and were so very happy we did. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like we were the only ones there. Not only were we treated fabulously, but the Inn itself was absolutely beautiful! They really captured the old world charm & class... More

So we had a family trip to Providence to see my niece graduate. My brother reserved 4 rooms at this B&B a few months in advance. In addition, we had to pay a deposit......no problem and the owner reached out to me a week before to get my final balance. I told him that I can give him a credit... More

We stayed in the Samuel Priest room which was amazing. Huge four poster bed, Jacuzzi tub, full bath, fireplace and decorated with fine antiques. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful! The innkeeper recommended an Italian restaurant (Basta), fabulous authentic italian food! Located within walking distance to Roger Williams park and botanical gardens. We came to Providence... More

So, I have read all the other reviews, and they mostly are accurate. This is a gorgeous property, but needs some major addressing to uneven walkways, stains on ceiling, etc. Given its an old house, I imagine its a constant process. Third floor is hot, even with the windows open in October. Its quite a haul lugging your bags up... More

We live in the neighborhood and have been to the Edgewood Manor twice as a quick getaway from our busy life with kids. The elegance and gorgeous antiques, art and furniture of the Manor make it feel like we are worlds away from our little rhode island neighborhood. The innkeeper and staff were very warm, welcoming, and interesting to talk... More

Grab a cup of coffee, this is going to be a long review... I wish that I could give the Edgewood Manor five stars for its beauty and its wonderful antiques, gorgeous art and lovely rugs and some of the staff and one star for some of the service. Hence, the average rating. We stayed for five nights at Edgewood... More

I stayed two nights at the Edgewood (in the Victorian room) the weekend of July 27th for a friend's wedding in Cranston. I recently graduated from college in Providence so I was already familiar with the area and had friends living in the city but opted to purchase a weekend's stay at either a hotel or b&b. I had never... More

A surprise get away weekend, perfect place for couples. The room was romantic with the jacuzzi tub, fireplace and extra large bed. We were so pleased the place was completely booked but it was quite and relaxing. A few other couples were enjoying themselves in the common room before dinner a nice and cozy room. The B&B is close to... More

I had a nice stay here after a day in Newport. It was a nice combo - from historical mansions to an historical mansion. The breakfast was lovely, and when I lost my favorite pearl earring, the maid searched diligently and found it!!!

We are well traveled B&B folks so this place was a bit out of the ordinary. By the tone of the previous reviews, we were definitely expecting a mixed bag stay. The good: rooms in the main house are large (didn't see what the rooms at Newhall were like), clean, beds comfortable, outdoor patio and grounds are nice for sitting... More
