We spent 4 nights here and the place was wonderful. The architecture was amazing and the antiques were incredible. Felt like staying in a museum with the coziness of a B&B. The staff was welcoming from the start. The gourmet breakfast each morning was a perfect start to each day. This is the crowning jewel of a street adorned by... more

After traveling up the Cape and spending time on Martha's Vineyard, we concluded our honeymoon with several nights at the Edgewood Manor. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome by Tom. A perfect host, Tom immediately assisted us with our luggage and focused on sharing the amenities of the house and area. We wanted to spend time in Newport... more

The owners here were very accomodating and pleasant. Room even had a jacuzzi tub and a stunning fireplace. When we arrived to check in cookies and free beverages where served. DO NOT MISS THE BEAUTY of this gorgeous Manor. Step outside the box of your sterile chain hotel and relax, unwind and enjoy the sight, hospitality, food and decor this B&B offers. I slept so sound and awoke to the smells of fresh blueberry muffins, coffee and breakfast made to order. Andrew and Joy are superb hosts. Andrew has a... more

My wife and I are repeat-visitors to this B+B, close to Providence RI. It's in an elegant and impressive mansion from around the turn of the century (the Samuel Priest house), and restored to its former glory by the caretaker. Be sure to ask about some of the antiques, especially the tiles in the dining room. more

It took us some time to find the place, but immediately were charmed by the grounds, the buildings and the furnishings. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We were there for commencement weekend as extended family and had a great time between festivities just relaxing on the porch, which became our "party central". The breakfast was fabulous, and there... more

Wonderful house with antiques and great atmosphere. Terrific breakfast served by wonderful woman, Joy, who is the mother of the owner. Rate are reasonable. VERY close to Providence and an easy drive. We were upgraded to a wondeful Victorian room and we felt quite special. Would definitely return again and again!!! more
