me and my boyfriend stayed here on a Saturday night, this place is beyond gorgeous! I loved all the large gothic furniture throughout the Inn... and the soft music playing in the foyer. We stayed in the Scarlet room, and OMG was this room HEAVEN!!! It has a large fireplace and with just the most gorgeous framed ceiling. I especially... More

Another pleasant stay at the Edgewood Manor. Andrew is a gracious host. I stayed in the Empire Room on the third floor. The attached bathroom has a large, two-person jacuzzi tub, as well as a walk- in shower. It was a little chilly up there due to unusually cold weather but the baseboard space heater in the bedroom warmed things... More

A historic home where the public rooms are a Victorian/ Edwardian Museum they are very impressive. Our room was clean and in period. It had incredibly noisy plumbing, you could hear people coughing and moving about. I didn't find it a comfortable experience There was no bedside table so no light at hand and no shower soap. It would have... More

A strange experience, this Edgewood Manor. We arrived a bit late (7:30PM) to the beautiful Edgewood Manor property with high expectations due to the many wonderful reviews on Yelp and Tripadvisor. Upon arriving (Note: the parking lot is off of Bartlett Street, NOT Norwood Ave) we made our way inside and were greeted by Cindy, the Innkeeper and our breakfast... More

My husband took me here for my birthday weekend get-a-way and I found it to be very relaxing. Being that it is winter, the Inn was very quiet. There were only one other couple staying the same weekend along with only two other residents so we practically had the place to ourselves, which I found nice. Cindy, the Innkeeper, was... More

We recently traveled across country to attend a funeral in Providence. We found Edgewood Manor online. We discovered that most of the hotels in the area were quite expensive so we opted for this alternative because parking was free and breakfast was included. We couldn't have found a more charming place. This Greek revival mansion, built in 1905, was more... More

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful B & B for our anniversary and were so very happy we did. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like we were the only ones there. Not only were we treated fabulously, but the Inn itself was absolutely beautiful! They really captured the old world charm & class... More

So we had a family trip to Providence to see my niece graduate. My brother reserved 4 rooms at this B&B a few months in advance. In addition, we had to pay a deposit......no problem and the owner reached out to me a week before to get my final balance. I told him that I can give him a credit... More

We stayed in the Samuel Priest room which was amazing. Huge four poster bed, Jacuzzi tub, full bath, fireplace and decorated with fine antiques. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful! The innkeeper recommended an Italian restaurant (Basta), fabulous authentic italian food! Located within walking distance to Roger Williams park and botanical gardens. We came to Providence... More

So, I have read all the other reviews, and they mostly are accurate. This is a gorgeous property, but needs some major addressing to uneven walkways, stains on ceiling, etc. Given its an old house, I imagine its a constant process. Third floor is hot, even with the windows open in October. Its quite a haul lugging your bags up... More
