A beautiful old home in south Providence. The pro's: breakfast was very good and the room and bed were comfortable. A nice location--with a Walgreens right next door, but still rustic with Roger Williams Park literally a 5 minute walk away. Cons: 2 problems. First, very poor communication. We arrived late at night and couldn't figure out how to get... More

Providence (and Warwick) hosts two big cyclocross races each fall in the large park that practically makes up this bed and breakfast's back yard. The second building allows kids, the breakfast area has a high chair, and the two room Elms suite is perfect for two couples or a family with kids. ENORMOUS bathroom! The furnishings are beautiful and the... More

made a reservation and said I would be the in an hour on a hot night. I got there and the room was hot and it took the little noisy window AC unit hours to cool it down. I was on on the third floor and even though there was wifi, the signal was so bad I could not connect.... More

My husband and I traveled through New England and stopped in Providence to visit friends. We stayed here for two nights and were impressed with the cleanliness and beautiful Inn! So much care has gone into this establishment and it shows! Melissa took great care of us and made us feel very welcome...it was nice to have a friendly host... More

me and my boyfriend stayed here on a Saturday night, this place is beyond gorgeous! I loved all the large gothic furniture throughout the Inn... and the soft music playing in the foyer. We stayed in the Scarlet room, and OMG was this room HEAVEN!!! It has a large fireplace and with just the most gorgeous framed ceiling. I especially... More

Another pleasant stay at the Edgewood Manor. Andrew is a gracious host. I stayed in the Empire Room on the third floor. The attached bathroom has a large, two-person jacuzzi tub, as well as a walk- in shower. It was a little chilly up there due to unusually cold weather but the baseboard space heater in the bedroom warmed things... More

A historic home where the public rooms are a Victorian/ Edwardian Museum they are very impressive. Our room was clean and in period. It had incredibly noisy plumbing, you could hear people coughing and moving about. I didn't find it a comfortable experience There was no bedside table so no light at hand and no shower soap. It would have... More

A strange experience, this Edgewood Manor. We arrived a bit late (7:30PM) to the beautiful Edgewood Manor property with high expectations due to the many wonderful reviews on Yelp and Tripadvisor. Upon arriving (Note: the parking lot is off of Bartlett Street, NOT Norwood Ave) we made our way inside and were greeted by Cindy, the Innkeeper and our breakfast... More

My husband took me here for my birthday weekend get-a-way and I found it to be very relaxing. Being that it is winter, the Inn was very quiet. There were only one other couple staying the same weekend along with only two other residents so we practically had the place to ourselves, which I found nice. Cindy, the Innkeeper, was... More
