I was looking for a place with some character, charm and amenities in Bristol ( a really wonderful town), and I could not have been happier. I felt like I was visiting a longtime family friend-the setting was gorgeous overlooking the Narraganset Bay, and the facilities were wonderful. My room had a bed and breakfast feeling to it-I felt so... More

Had a wonderful one night stay here. Room was terrific as was the breakfast, especially the blueberry French toast. The house and surroundings are quite beautiful and there is lots of room. A nice touch is a collection of snacks and ice cream that you can indulge in as needed. Hopefully we can come back for longer.

Point Pleasant Inn is like stepping back in time to a slower, more graceful style of living. The Inn is imaculately kept with an attention to detail you rarely find these days. Chris, the Innkeeper, was charming and helpful and our entire family enjoyed his company very much. He started a fire for us on the lawn the night of... More

Point Pleasant Inn is a large mansion on large, beautiful grounds at the edge of the water on a peninsula in Bristol. This location is about a 30 to 45 minute drive from Providence. There are many public rooms (library, study, living and dining areas, etc.), as well as various bedrooms and suites, all very elegant, comfortable and clean. Free... More

Set in its own grounds overlooking the water near Bristol, RI, The Point Pleasant Inn is all you could expect from a unique and luxurious small resort in Rhode Island. We were graciously welcomed by Christina, who showed us around the immaculate house, explaining that we should feel free to roam where we liked, eat and drink what we fancied... More

This was my first ever B&B stay. The place is dreamy beautiful, comfortable, clean, and quiet. My 5 year old daughter decided she wanted to live there. I'm hoping my son will be accepted to Brown so that we'll stay @ this place many more times.

I have never taken the time to write a review about an Inn before, but the Point Pleasant Inn deserves one! The Point Pleasant Inn is unique amongst luxury Inns and we highly recommend it. The setting is idyllic, and it is the only time we have visited a property where the pictures on the website are less impressive than... More

We just returned from our 2nd visit to The Point Pleasant Inn and we're already planning for next year. From the minute we arrived, Chris Hafer took excellent care of us and made sure we'd have another wonderful stay at this gorgeous retreat. Each morning we would come down to a beautiful table setting out on the terrace overlooking the... More

We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate an anniversary. The Point Pleasant is a hidden gem. It is pricey, but the amenities are many and include an open bar. You would have to try hard to not enjoy yourself here. The house is spacious and grand, the rooms are clean, the food is good, the company was interesting and... More

My wife and I just spent two nights at Point Pleasant for our anniversary. High class accommodations with personal touches throughout the premise, the proprietors of this history rich estate create a unique character that reminds you of a bygone era. Our room, the Bristol Harbor, was adorned with beautiful artwork, quality furnishings and an expansive terrace overlooking the bay... More
