Our wonderful family gave us a long weekend on Block Island and though we are well-traveled, neither my husband nor I had been there before. Stayed here over Labor Day weekend....there was confusion about the reservation- although had spoken directly to a staff member...Ann resolve but we spent our first night at the National Hotel....the room are comfortable, homey and we had our own little porch...the breakfast was excellent and of course one of the best locations on the Island That said...think the Blue Dory... This has become an annual Thanksgiving trip for our family and it never disappoints. I actually feel as if I am coming home when I visit. The staff is friendly, kind, and quietly aware of how to make visits the best they can be.

We had a great time, even though it rained throughout our stay. The Inn was charming, the afternoon cookies sensational and the breakfast buffet was beyond expectations, with wonderful new treats every morning. We will absolutely return!
