This place is great for a get away. Nothing too fancy but easy worth the money. Beautiful area of PA, nice roads, very scenic. AND MAYBE THE BEST RESTURANT I HAVE BEEN TO IN PA!! Great menu, very well prepared and served in the old part of the hotel.

Stayed here one night while in the area on business. As others have noted you have to check in at the bar. The service was prompt and pleasant. My room was in the Annex which is the newer building. Spartan and Motel 6 is what describes the room the best. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The worst... More

Yes, this is an old hotel and as a result lacks some of the spoils and amenities that some travelers may be looking for. Things are worn, chipped, furniture is old, and overall the place is rustic and rough around the edges. Hello... it's a historic hotel . But, I applaud the owner's for keeping this gem on the landscape.... More

We were originally supposed to stay in a historic room. The room was very small & had cable wire hanging. We upgraded to the more modern annex. The bolt wouldn't lock, the towel rack came off when we took a bath towel off, the bed was so lumpy my husband slept on the quilt with a blanket over him. We... More

I found bugs in my bed when I pulled the covers back ... would not stay here by choice. If I wasn't here for work I'd demand a refund. Don't stay here unless you have too food at the r esteraunt is overly expensive. You have to check in at the bar....

I walked into the hotel and could not stop laughing. Their website said five star. Maybe back in 1950. This place is awful. From the dining room with 1970 tables that are fulling apart. To the folding chairs and tables in the break rooms. To the dirty carpets, paint falling off building, and the home depot style bathroom. This place... More

This is hands down one of the worst places I have ever stayed. When we arrived we had to check in at the bar! Which then turned into a fiasco when I went to my room they gave me and someone else was already in it!! I went back over and got a different room and finally got to go... More

I was really looking forward to staying in the old hotel, since my daughter and I had gone by it back in the 70's and we had said we wish someone would buy it and fix it up. I then saw it on the "Bed and Breakfast" site and since my husband and I were going up that way, I... More

No microwave. No coffee or coffee pot. No curtains. It smells like rotting Chinese dry wall. My bed feels like it is going to fall apart. Oh and you better get there during normal business hours if you want to actually get into the building and your room. The towels feel like sandpaper and are questionable if they are even... More

My wife and I stayed at the Wyalusing Hotel last September on our way out to Niagara Falls on a motorcycle trip. We had booked a room there based on a previous stay around 15 years ago, which was a very pleasant experience. This place may have changed owners since then. We called to reserve a room and were given... More
