I booked this hotel months before a marathon. Upon arrival, the outside of the building is in disrepair and just old looking. Hardly any parking at all. The lobby was ok. We were directed to our room, which was on the first floor right next to the elevator. I had specifically requested a higher floor, away from elevators. The fact... More

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at our property. Due to the recent flooding in the area, and the fact that you stayed with us on a holiday weekend, it is likely that we did not have another room to move you into at that time. We are currently undergoing some construction in our parking... More

My husband and I came up to spend the night and did a package deal. The value was great, the casino shuttle wonderfully convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, and the breakfast buffet had lots of good options. The only issue we had here was noise...... More

I work in event planning for a company who has used the Woodlands for a number of years. We've strayed a couple of times, simply to check out the competition, but we recently held a huge function in the area and used the Woodlands to house over 100 of our guests. They knocked it out of the ballpark for two... More

My son's wedding was held at the Woodlands. First Class event. Great food. Great service. Many out of town guests stayed at the Woods. Every guest I spoke with loved the rooms and commented on how great the service was.

We had the Casino Package which gave us, breakfast, 2 drinks, $5 coupon @ hotel and $10 @ Mohegan Sun, free shuttle. The hotel staff is very welcoming and eager to make your stay great. We had a room on the first floor with a slider that opened up to the path to the pool and restaurant. The hotel is... More

Very unique hotel -- had a lovely time at "The Woods". Nice outdoor pool, awesome 70's night at club on Sunday night. Excellent food at Pizza restaurant; great $ value for the quality of food & drink. All staff amazingly polite and friendly. True bonus was the free shuttle to/from Mohegun Sun - if not on site, was available within... More

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding last weekend. What a beautiful place. There is a nice stream with waterfalls that runs along side of the hotel, great for wedding photos. We stayed in a king room right on the stream. The room was really nice and clean and the bed was great!!. They have a Shogun restaurant,... More

Going to the Woodlands is always fun whether you are staying there, going to hear "the Tones," the best oldies band in the region, or sipping your favorite happy hour drink overlooking the roaring the waterfall below the Tiki Bar. Fridays are a blast here where you can watch the ducks below the bar fight over leftovers or preen themselves.... More
