Another great time at this rambling resort featuring one feature after another upon every turn you make. Loved spending time with family and friends. Would go again and again. Some things to consider: know what you want to do so you can book your room adjacent to the numerous hotel amenities. Rooms are not opulent but efficiently designed. One drawback--not... More

Happy 60th to you Brother -in-law, So happy you stayed with us to celebrate the birthday. You provided some great input for future guests. We're a great destination for a two day getaway. Enjoy the pools, spa, Jacuzzi, restaurants, bars and live entertainment. Plenty to keep you busy and just a stones throw from Mohegan Sun Casino, we even provide... More

Had a great time at the Woodlands. The entire staff were friendly and helpful, we felt safe, and thought the property was kept clean and more importantly affordable! We enjoyed the restaurants, bar and nightclub. Conveniently located to the casino and loved the door to door shuttle to the casino. If you have any doubt's visiting the Woodlands forget them,... My husband and I wanted to go away somewhere local but secluded enough for a honeymoon. 1 search on TripAdvisor and the hotel of our dreams came up. The price was reasonable and in our budget, it was right off the highway but secluded enough where you felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The hotel itself... More

Spent the weekend of 10/23-5 in a suite with a double person tub. The room was fantastic! Nice balcony overlooking a small stream. Had room service which was really quick and hot. Shuttle service to casino was quick. Everyone was so nice from check in to the spa to housekeeping. Awesome pool and hot tub. Will definitely return!

Stayed by the stream, and had wonderful time. Somewhat dated in decor but well kept. On site restaurants and nice breakfast as well. Quiet and cozy for a weekend away. Close to casino, and many other restaurants as well.

We arrived late Friday night. Checkin was easy. The staff was very friendly. After getting settled into our room, we walked around to check out the "resort". It is unique. We noticed in order to get to the restaurants and bars, you had to walk down a hallway that had guest rooms on both sides. As we got closer to... More

Dear diesel724: Thank you for sharing your experience. Although very disappointing we need to hear it. Many of the guests take Halloween from the nightclub to their room, not thinking of there fellow guests. It's just a shame that you came for peace and quiet and you got the opposite. I would hope that you would think of us again... More

It has been awhile since I've stayed, however, I have yet to find another place that could top the experience I had at "The Woods". It's not everyday that you walk into a business where you are welcomed like a member of the family. From the front desk to the service in both restaurants, The Woodlands' crew does not miss... More

We were all surprised from 4th grader to 40 yr old at how nice this "resort', if you will, turned out to be. Was very skeptical coming from NY b/c of the pricing but was really glad we stopped there. It was clean & pleasant, things to do onsite, plenty nearby for the kids and exceptional service from a family... More

My husband surprised me with a couple days at this charming resort. Don't be fooled by the location this boutique resort had everything we could want. They made very smart renovations and everything is beautiful and spotlessly clean! The waterfall is stunning and the bath products luxurious. The only draw backs were that you could hear the next room and... More

Decided to give this hotel a try and was very satisfied. The rooms were very clean, and spotless. I went ahead and got a great deal on Groupon. The overall ambiance of the place is very comforting, and stylish. The room bathrooms look are phenomenal. Probably the best bathrooms I've ever been to. My only nit-pick is the location of... More
