It will never be fancy. It's just a place to sleep not spend all your time. I did find the staff to be very helpful and made some nice recommendations for restaurants etc. Most of Pittsburgh was booked the dates we needed so we took the chance. Breakfast is truly just granola bars, instant oatmeal packets and coffee and tea. The most irritating thing was the lack of blowdryers in the rooms and having to ask for one. Also, they were out of them when we arrived? This isn't the 80" spend the money to get blowdryers. Why put your staff in the situation to have say you don't have any??

If you want maid service every day and a buffet for breakfast, this is not the place for you. BUT with a nice little kitchen and a full size fridge, you can fix a nice breakfast before you head out for the day. Pots, pans and dishes were provided along with plates and utensils. I thought that was great! Saves a little money too!

We reserved a King room and were given a Queen due to overbooking but we were transferred to a King room the next day and our rate was reduced due to the inconvenience. This is a good place to stay if you will be in an area for a week or longer. All they need to do is add a few more channels to their TV choices! I will have no trouble stay at an Extended Stay again if we have a long stay somewhere again.

The facility overall and our rooms in particular were neat and tidy. The walls also seem a good thickness -- one half of our group stayed up to talk and carry on, but people in the other room weren't disturbed. The only possible detraction was the paltry free breakfast, but you do have a kitchenette and stores nearby.

It is so rewarding to read that you had a great stay with us. Your gratification with the clean condition of our facilities is satisfying. However, I am disappointed that our grab-and-go breakfast was not to your liking, but I am glad your overall stay was pleasant and favorable. The staff and I would like to thank you again for posting your review. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

Coming back to a quiet room after a long day of work. Priceless. Having a hotel that is near restaurants and grocery stores is very handy. Sometimes you might feel like cooking your own meals sometimes you don't. Having a guest laundry room is also a plus most of the other hotel chains don't have this pleasurable feature.

There is trash, cigarette butts, and dog waste all over the property.

Management doesn't respond to issues.

People ignore the non-smoking policy inside and even hotel staff pay no attention to the "100 foot" rule... Guests and staff stand right outside of the hotel entries/exits.

The place is noisy.

The carpets in the halls are filthy.

Staff turnover is high. Staff morale is low.
Some staff are rude and seem to have no concept of customer service.

Drug deals in the parking lot...

Guests smoke pot inside and outside.

They have actually run out of toilet paper!!!

Some days there is no clean linen or towels available!

When I made my reservation for a week I had googled :Pet friendly hotels near 15210" this came up for a good price so I called the 800 number and reserved for a week with a pet. When I first checked in I was given a keycard to second floor room- that somebody was already sleeping in, I pushed to open the door and it was bolted from the inside(I should have left right then)Hindsight is always 20/20.The next evening I return after being gone for the day-I left my cat's carrier open so she could eat and check out the room. The T.V. and heat were turned off( I had left them on) and my cat was GONE.No one had any answers for me and didn't seem overly concerned. I had front desk get a hold of manger( Colleene Dennis) who eventually came back. She said she would help me look for my cat, I say great thank you and we will have to file a police report once we find her., I go outside(freezing cold, ice storm) and she calls police and tells them i'm trying to scam a room. So the police come(i'm happy to see them, thinking that help was here)WRONG-instead they were screaming in my face about not having money to pay, threatening to arrest me . I was stunned beyond belief, i just started crying, I felt completely helpless. I had to pack my things( a weeks worth) and leave without my cat and find another hotel nearby in an icestorm. As i'm leaving I hear the manager and staff saying "she probably never had a cat anyhow" I had booked the room for a week on my credit card when I called the 800 #, I also called them back and verified that they did indeed have my payment info on file to be charged at end of stay. I searched for her every day and night, called the hotel to see if they had found her and every animal shelter and hospital in the area. 2 weeks later( Christmas Eve) another manager from hotel calls me-my cat has been found in the hotel after 2 weeks without food or water, she was covered in an oily/greasy substance and severely emaciated and dehydrated. They have offered no apology or any type of acknowledgement for their huge mistake. They overcharged my credit card as well. What a disaster, I work in guest service and if my staff ever treated someone this way- well they wouldn't because they are trained better.DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

First room we got the toilet did not work, second room had no towels or soap. We informed front desk of this then left for the day. We came back and still no towels or soaps. Front desk staff are constantly hanging out and talking with friends at front lobby? 2 days after staying here my credit card number was compromised. Coincidence? So to recap, terrible staff, hotel maintenance problems, sketchy neighborhood, and potential fraud happening here. AVOID at all costs.

We reserved a king room, and were given a double. When telling the staff about this, they just said tough luck. Call hotels dot com. We had reserved it a month ago. There was no apology. They all acted like we were inconveniencing them. There was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast...what a joke!!! There are no eggs or fruit or juice or milk. All you get is oatmeal packets and coffee. The Air Conditioner didn't work. There was supposed to be a complimentary gym, but that was another thing that I got treated rudely about. We used to do that, but not any more. There was no I'm sorry for inconveniencing you again. I got treated like I was an annoyance, and not a customer. This has been the worst hotel stay of my life!
