The Inn at Whitewing Farm is a beautiful idyllic spot, perfectly located to easily visit all of the surrounding attractions of the Brandywine Valley. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with several buildings spread across gently rolling hills and include a beautiful pond. We stayed in two different rooms over four days (due to limited availability at the time of our... More

We stayed at the Inn this past weekend. Very conveniently located, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. And extremely clean. The hosts, Lance and Sandy were very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent. Belgium waffles, crepes, homemade granola, and fresh baked breads. The rooms were also very quiet. This is definitely an excellent B&B.

We wanted to be in the Brandywine area, and this filled the bill, with easy access to Longwood Gardens and other attractions. The hosts were friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat (we went to Byrsa at Kennett Square: 15 minutes, easy with GPS). The room (Jockey) was attractive and clean, and the dining/ communal room was beautiful.... More

The Inn at Whitewing Farm was absolutely magical. We fell in love!! The farm is beautiful, with picture post-card views everywhere you look. The room we had (Jockey Room) was very clean and comfortable, with easy parking and access to the Haybarn, where a delicious breakfast was served each day. We stayed for four nights, and loved every night and... More

Enjoyed our stay at Whitewing Farm. It is a B&B in the country near Longwood Gardens. We stayed in a Stable room. It was large enough for us. Small TV but we did not visit to watch the TV! Room had packed bookshelf. I found a rare title on Watergate and enjoyed reading. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean... More

We had high hopes for this place heading in. There were lots of great reviews and wonderful pictures. The farm was nice, just not nearly as nice as we anticipated. We had a group stay here over Labor Day Weekend and were somewhat taken aback by the overall unfriendly nature of our "hosts." The property was not as advertised in... More

We spent 3 nights at the Inn at Whitewing Farm and couldn't have been more pleased with the accomodations, hospitality, and helpful suggestions by the hosts. We biked the Brandywine area, went to Longwood Gardens, had delicious meals and enjoyed the relaxing setting. It ranks among the best B&B's we've ever stayed in!

This inn is the perfect location to stay when visiting Winterthur and Longwood Gardens. Our room was smallish, but quiet, and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful (they let us store our bikes in their garage and our fridge items in their wine cellar when we arrived 6 hours before checkin time). unfortunately, we had to leave before breakfast,... Whitewing Farm Inn is the perfect spot to stay when you are exploring the gorgeous Brandywine Valley area. We spent an overnight there, having explored Longwood Gardens the previous afternoon, and canoeing the gentle Brandywine Creek the next morning. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. We stayed in the Tack Room, the most modest room, but entirely comfortable, cozy, and... More

I just finished another "girls get a way" at Inn at Whitewing Farm and our experience was just as good as our previous stay. The property is beautiful. The location is fabulous. The hosts are welcoming and down to earth, making us feel like we are a part of the family. We enjoyed our room, a rainy afternoon in their... More
