These two words are what come to mind when I think of our stay here. The property is stunning and the rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable linens. Lance and Sandy are warm and welcoming and we felt as if we had known them forever as friends after just one nights stay! The breakfast was delicious and the presentation was... More

we went to longwood gardens and stayed at this spotless Inn. The sheets for one thing were like made of the finest material ever!! the grounds were so beautiful, and Sandy and Lance are the perfect host. We had traveled 2 weeks staying at several b&b's but this breakfast was the very best ever. Lance such a wonderful host/chef and... More

Great rooms, great service and convient location. Newly decorated rooms , very clean and wonderful breakfast. My wife and I were quest for 4 nights and we would highly recommend this B@B. The location to all the surrounding attractions was very convient . There is an outdoor pool and tennis courts as well.

I travel the world on business and generally stay at corporate hotels so chose this B&B to have a completely different experience. Put simply, there is room to breathe. The relaxed atmosphere and comfort is couples with a warmth from the owners Lance and Sandy that you just can't put a price on. These people live for their business with... More

The inn is a set of rooms in a very pretty country setting. There are many things to do in the vicinity, such as Longwood Gardens and wineries. The rooms themselves are clean but not interesting. There is an outdoor pool which we enjoyed all to ourselves. Breakfast made by the innkeepers is very good.

Beautiful property. Stayed cause there was a pool, central air and wifi. Unfortunately, our room by the pond was moldy and the sheets were damp. And no wifi in the pond house either. The pool was filled with natural water, but did not look inviting to go in. The pond fountain was lovely and the breakfast was nice. If we... More

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us at The Inn at Whitewing Farm. As you point out in your observations, our name is not a euphemism but an accurate description of our actual farm setting with a selection of various room locations and decors. The accommodations in the pond area are appreciated for... More

Lovely property and very gracious innkeepers who allowed me to check out late on Sunday. The property is incredibly scenic and quiet but very close to interesting sites like Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Museum where the Wyeth family art work is displayed. I will be back!

This bed and breakfast is an absolute delight. The owners make you feel right at home and ensure that everything is to your liking. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning our next visit real soon. The grounds on the property are well-maintained and very elegant. The breakfast in the mornings are delicious and quite filling. My... More

We can not adequately express our appreciation for your very kind remarks concerning your recent stay at the Inn at Whitewing Farm. You have captured in words the essence of our location and summarized what makes us such a very special choice for an unique weekend retreat. The property is rather lovely, especially since it is so very close to Longwood Gardens (around the corner literally) but the whole vibe is very odd indeed. When you first check in at the barn, there is a gas small that is overwhelming. i can not believe they don't get a citation for it- poisoning their guests??? why don;t they... More

My husband and I recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at this inn. While the Kennett Square area has lots of great attractions, the Inn at Whitewing Farm was by far, so nice, that if we had found nothing to do, we would still have thoroughly enjoyed the trip!! The family that owns the Inn is friendly... More
