My husband and I visited Snug Hollow Farm for the first time on Thanksgiving two years ago and eagerly anticipate returning this Thanksgiving. The ambience is comfortable, cordial and completely satisfying--from the fox running through the autumn leaves, seen from the dayroom windows, to the deer munching flowers outside the front yard, even the animals know a good thing when they see one! The dining room's working fireplace is marvelous and everywhere there is something pleasant to look at, touch or stretch out on. The kitchen is spacious and the meals are made with as much care for the eye as the palate. The gazebo is quite romantic, as well as the large wooden-floored barn.
Everything smells of fresh air, natural material and sunshine. Our hosts anticipated our needs, without intruding, and great conversation was had by all. Don't forget to take a walk in the woods when you come, the grounds are lovely. more
