Stayed here after being shuttled from the Appalachian Trail by owner, Dave. Friendly and knowledgeable, Dave washed my dirty clothes right away, and was hospitable. Restaurants and stores just out the front door yet quiet inside or sit out on the back porch. Tea and coffee 24/7. No problem shuttling back to the AT. Owners have run it for 16... More

Stayed at Burgundy Lane one night going to Gettysburg the next day. What a pleasant surprise to a very unassuming B&B. Dave and Margret were most accommodating and helpful at every turn. The rooms all have themes and we stayed in the Castle Room...very amusing and clever. Great king bed, wonderful TV and well appointed bath with most everything thought... More

We elected to stay at the Burgundy Lane B&B as part of our visit to Gettysburg battlefield about 45 minutes drive away. We were met on arrival by David our host and were immediately made to feel so welcome and directed to the free private off-road parking at the rear. Our African themed room was perfect with a huge comfortable... More

The home is decorated beautifully. The breakfast was lovely and delicious. The rating of 5 is a result of the personality and character of the owners. This B&B is located conveniently between Gettysburg and Antietam. It is also a convenient location for those hiking the Appalachian Mountains.

My wife and I frequent the Gettysburg area regularly as a weekend getaway, but we were bringing our son with us for the first time and wanted a bit quieter atmosphere for our overnight stay. With such great reviews we decided to give Burgundy Lane a try (having had wonderful experiences with B&Bs in past travels) and we were not... More

My mom and I stayed with David and Margaret for what was supposed to be only 1 night but as soon as we stepped foot in their home, we added another night. I have stayed in B&B's before, but not my 86-year-old mom, so I wasn't sure. We are SO glad we did, and our stay there was one of... More

Our family of four came to Waynesboro for an evening Thanksgiving feast with our new extended family (our lucky son married their beautiful daughter.) Innkeepers Dave and Margaret took us in with open arms on Thanksgiving afternoon. As we experienced on our last visit, the rooms were atmospheric and spotless, breakfast was ample, delicious, and companionable. Burgundy Lane is our... More

My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite on Oct 4-6,2014. When we first arrived, we were immediately greeted by our Hosts: Dave and Margaret. They are a lovely couple. Margaret asked us what time would we like breakfast, and were there any foods we didn't like. She then showed us our suite. 1st of all, there was not... More

I had the opportunity to Stay at Burgundy Lane while doing a recent section hike of the Appalachian Trail through the southern end of Pennsylvania and Maryland. Hosts David and Margaret make you feel right at home. The B&B is well situated near many historical sites such as Gettysburg and Antietam. Harpers Ferry is less than an hour away as... More

My wife and I wanted her childhood home in Derry, as well as Gettysburg and the Flight 93 memorial from a "homebase"; our wish was granted by Dave and Margaret's B&B. The Africa room was very comfortable and the adjoining balcony was the perfect place to wind down the day with a good book. The little town of Waynesboro is... More
