This place has a nice charm about it but truly it is time to remodel the rooms and get new beds! They are so squeaky! Carpet is in need of being replaced. The duct tape on the carpet is just horrible! Time for new bed spreads, sheets, mattresses, TV's and towels! Restaurant hours are limited.

Labor day weekend would've been a complete disaster if it weren't for these nice people. Welcomed us in for the weekend. Beautiful place and even nicer people. Kathy is such a doll. Gonna miss her. Built in 1830s the intrakit wood work will blow your mind.

Arrived May 16th to attend a wedding and reception. Had a drink in their lovely bar before checking in and attending wedding. The wedding reception was lovely and the food tasty served by a wonderful staff. Must say that we did keep the bartender busy she did not miss a beat and with a smile...Upon returning to our room the... More

We stayed at the Watson Inn the last weekend of September, 2014. Full disclosure, it was the only room available in the area. I waited to write a review in hopes the management would respond to a letter I sent. They did not respond. We stayed in the suite and it was NOT worth $199 per night. The Watson Inn... More

The food is truly not as good as TV dinner food. My spouse ordered the $26 Prime Rib. It was luke warm and gray. With the prime rib came cold and nearly tasteless instant mash potatoes with that nasty dark brown super salty canned gravey. It was aweful. I ordered a steak salad with the meat done medium. The steak... More

Stayed here for dinner on way out to west. Dinner was good, had filet, my wife had strip steak. Room was as expected for this type of place, but noise from other rooms, and cleanliness is poor. Carpeted bathrooms in hotels should be banned.

Today a bunch of girls from work and I went here for lunch. I have been here to eat a few times with my husband. I have never really been impressed. Today the service was awful!! They were not busy as it was a Wednesday afternoon. We all waited and waited for our food with empty glasses. The potatoes soup... More

The Watson Inn is a local restaurant favorite! Eat in the bar if you can - it's smoke free and the seating is nicer. Lots of parking available, but we walk since our home is only a few blocks away. The interior is gorgeous. Try the chicken salad with crispy chicken and pickle topping - YUM. Best salad ever and... More

Upon entering the restaurant we had a good feeling. It is welll decorated and looks great. That's the end of the positive vibe. The food is bad. We had filet mignon, shrimp scampi, and chicken parm. Steak was ordered rare and served well, scampi was a tails on bowl of brown gravy and shrimp without pasta, garlic or any resemblence... More

From first impressions, the entrance way and restaurant was charming but the rooms are not. This is an old inn so squeaky floors, thin walls and strange room layouts are to be expected. Be warned it is situated by train tracks and you will hear/feel the train come through blowing his horn multiple times a night. It is also right... More
