I surprised my husband with a two-night cabin stay at Happy Acres, and we had a WONDERFUL time. We stayed in the Bear Hugs cabin, and it was so clean I was amazed. Beautiful cabin and had everything we needed. I brought linens, but other than that, they had everything there-dish soap, dish towels, hand soap, paper towels. It was... More

$48 per night for water, electric, sewer plus $8 pet fee. No warning on the 9' maximum clearance bridge. A bit over priced. Shower, laundry building needs replaced. A 3 page rental agreement for an overnight stay in a camp site was a bit much.

We arrived late to our campsite, as we had told the managers we would. Upon arrival we were notified that our reserved space had been taken over by a group of campers and we would be assigned to a different site. The manager then lead us to our new site and helped us back our camper into the space. Our... More

We have been going to Happy Acres for the last 15 years & have always enjoyed the time there whether it was tent or cabin. Every year the place has had some improvements & always enjoyed the courteous & helpful staff. Tim has been there a number of years and I can see he does enjoy accommodating in anyway possible.

We rented the Endless Weekends cabin for Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and cozy and was comfortable for our party of five adults and two dogs. It was secluded at the back of the campground so we could not really hear any other campers, which added to the sense of truly "getting away"... More

Traveling a good bit away from home,we stayed here over Labor Day 2015. Managers went out of their way to be helpful and nice! Escorted and backed me in to our spot at 11:00 pm due to our late arrival. They came and visited with us the next day. Will be back!

But quarter showers is a no go showers have been the same for the past 30years they definitely need a upgrade they are dark and quarter machines... More

This is a beautiful part of Pennsylvania. We've drive by here many times and assumed it was a standard private campground, with lots of noise and sites too close together. With alternatives full, we stayed in a cabin there for one night. It's very well run, professional staff, nice premises, and the cabin (Hillside 1) was fully appointed, clean and... More

The staff are all very friendly, the place is nice, bathrooms okay, restaurant good, store with a lot of knick knacks. Pool nice. We camped in a pop up. My advice: ask for a site as far from the office as you can. The manager lives right across from the office and right at 10 oclock we were asked to... More

Racoon Ridge may be called a cabin but in fact is an immaculate, adorable cottage. Its proximity to campsites & trailers could make for close quarters, but in the off-peak seasons we found it peacefully secluded & romantic. The staff was friendly & readily available. We could walk directly from the cabin to many miles of hiking trails in these vibrant... More
