Stayed at this hotel for only one night. The reception staff were friendly and gave advice on trips, the rooms were modern and very clean. Like some other eviewers I had no view from the hotel room other than a brick wall but this did not put of my enjoyment. A good base for tourist or business.

My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip since we decided that we would try something different than the same places we always frequent at interstate exits. This place is a classic and must have been "the place" when it opened in the 1920s. I don't know how they keep it open since it certainly didn't have a... More

Stayed here for one night on a business trip in Washington. The hotel is set back in amongst a housing estate but don't let that put you off. It was a bit difficult at first to find the hotel from the main road. On arrival the car park was large and the hotel is built on 2 Levels. Check in... More

Attended an event last Friday -thoroughly enjoyed the evening/meal etc. The hotel was very friendly and the staff very efficient. It has changed a lot in recently years - it is quite a while since I have been. the car park has certainly improved. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening.

This place was a real treat. Just loaded with history. How Marilyn, the Beatles and JFK chose the place I don't know. Suffice it to say that they did. Kennedy even gave his Bay of Pigs speech here. But history aside this was a comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay. So what if it could use a few upgrades... More

Stayed here for business and was really surprised at the difference between the website and the actual experience. No doubt the hotel has a lot of character but the experience was disappointing based on what I expected from the website. It's very dated and the rooms are a hybrid between nice furnishings and a motel. You want to love he... More

The GW Hotel was built in 1923 and has a lot of character and beauty. It's a great hotel for those who can appreciate it. This hotel is not for those who expect to stay in modern-day luxury or a cookie-cutter chain hotel. This hotel is located with other historic buildings, with the county courthouse across the street and an... More

Old quaint inn. I was totally fbfounded that Hotwire would put this inn comparable to Holiday Inn Express or La Quinta!!! The room was clean very small and old. I do give the proprietors there due they are trying to keep it up but there is a lot of work ahead of them. Not to mention the location is incredibly... More

We had our wedding there last weekend and myself, the groom, and most of our family and friends stayed there the weekend as well. The wedding went off flawlessly thanks to Brad the wedding coordinator. He was patient and pleasant with us during the whole wedding planning process as well as the day of. We had a huge wedding party... More

Yes I read the prior reviews but it was too late, I had reserved with the Hilton Chain but they overbooked. They gave me this room free of charge. Yikes! First red flag. Lobby is nice. After that I thought I was at the hotel California. Scary elevator. Small rooms Leaky shower head dripped ALL night. You can hear everything... More
