I have stayed at the Summit Hotel. it is near to my home so I took some friends to stay there. They had complimentary breakfast was nice but there is bit of traffic coming thru out the hotel. the rooms were okay but not as clean as they present when registering. if you can drive a bit futher I prefer... The famous and wealthy who stayed in this beautiful old building would be appalled to see it inundated with tee short wearing, beer drinking, cigar smoking party boys. The fun in the gorgeously appointed hand carved wood lobby doesn't stop until 2 am and you can here every word and every belch from the adjoining front rooms. The band was... More

we stayed here one night. have to admit, it's not a very clean place. really needs to be renovated or torn down. carpet throughout the facility is very worn and dirty. cigarette smoke odor lingers through the whole place even though it says no smoking all over the place. our room was non smoking, but for some reason there was... I enjoyed my stay at the Summit Inn Hotel, very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The customer service reps were very friendly and helpful. They recommended places to eat and shop.

The Inn was a good place as a travel base. Dinner on the veranda was nice, but nothing to write home about. Room was fine, but lack of counter space in bath with a pedastel sink wasn't convenient. Don't look for a high tech TV, focus on the gorgeous sunsets! Clean, quiet, quaint, pleasant overall. We enjoyed it as a... More

This is a grand old hotel that has been updated. The hotel is located on the summit of a small mountain and has spectacular views. The rooms are very nice. The Stickley furniture in the lobby and restaurant are attractive. The food at their restaurant was good and reasonable priced. The downside is that there is no elevator, and no... More

This "hotel" smelled horrible! It reminded me of a sad elderly retirement home. My room was so dirty I wiped my feet to go OUTSIDE. I will list the following issue the room had. 1. Pubic hairs on bathroom floor. 2. Stains on furniture and carpet 3. Disgusting old tissues 3. Pubic hair on continental breakfast donuts. (Wish I were... More

Don't let the fact that it's next to a golfcourse fool you, this place is DUMP! It stinks, the carpets are dirty, the towels are dirty, bed sheets are stained, bathroom and bath tub are stained and worst of all it has BED BUGS! I woke at about five in the morning skin itching and red blotches on my skin,... More

just like everyone else said - stains everywhere, dirty bathroom, wallpaper peeling off the walls. "continental breakfast" of stale coffee and entemann's doughnuts. the place only stays in business because it's the only hotel on the road...i wish we hadn't been so desperate for a room
