We just spent a few serene days at the Indian Rock Inn. We had a spotlessly clean room, with fresh crisp linens, simple but charming decor and best of all, a fantastic view of the river and countryside. The proprietors and staff were all friendly and helpful making for a very relaxing getaway just a few hours from NYC. Every... More

The Inn is rickety, a broke down palace but we kenw that. the chef is great and the meal was wonderful, but instant mashed potatoes are evident. A great place to get away for not alot of money. tranquil setting. Drawbacks are the rickety deck and back stairs, the smell of masked cigarette smoke. Great food, friendly staff.

Grat place, fabulous environment and nature. Peacefull stay in a confortable and nice room. Not far from Allentown/Bethlehem area. Nearby villages provide nice alternatives to eat and to spend the day. Also good for bike and jogging

We booked hotel for two nights over Labor Day weekend, but did not have a chance to explore all advantages of the place because we had to make a quick and abrupt departure. Yes, we noticed beautifil view and comfortable rooms. but when we arrived and were ready to go to bed a bedbug was sitting under bed cover. We... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms and bathrooms were clean with an historic tone and most with a beautiful view of the Delaware River that is just across the street complete with a toe path to walk on. The best part of the experience was the restaurant and bar. The food was outstanding and the bar was friendly... More

Great location and view but that is all. Shabby, run down inn, where the owner boast of a great inn & food is simple not true. Inn is in terrible shape, noisey ( our rm was above bar and restaurant)... I would never return and certainly would not recommend this place. Food is awlful and expensive so not worth the... More

I planned New Years Eve for our group of 12. I read largely positive reviews about the Indian Rock Inn in Upper Black Eddy, PA. I thought that by going off the beaten path, and this place is off the beaten path in a beautiful setting, that we could avoid some of the common perceptions about going out on New... More
