My stay at Stony Point B&B couldn't have been better. Paul, the innkeeper, went the extra mile to accomodate my needs, moving furniture for better placement, allowing checkout time to be in the afternoon instead of morning, providing refreshments for my meeting. The rooms were exceptually clean, and had more amenities than I could take advantage of. Would definitely return... More

Stony Point is a lovely restored (not remodeled or renovated) home. While centrally located in the quaint yet busy town of Tyrone, it is at the same time removed from the hustle and bustle, as it sits atop a hill on seven wooded acres. I stayed in the Juniata room, the least expensive one that has a shared bathroom. I... More

My husband and I were recently invited to tour Stoney Point Bed and Breakfast. Tthis beautiful natural stone house is nestled on a hillside in a peaceful, somewhat secluded area of Tyrone. Mr. J.K. Johnston, Superindentent of the Tyrone Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad, had this home built for his family in the 1920's. PRR engineers were consulted to develope... More

What a treat!! Everything was as described by Paul, the innkeeper. I called late in the day and he couldn't have been more accommodating. From making a room available to the call back message "Rob, I just made some dinner if you would like some" Wow, it should be a dinner and bed and breakfast!! The house was just like... More

Michael and I had an extremely pleasant stay at Stony Point B & B. Paul, the Innkeeper, gave us a very warm welcome to his fascinating house. The bedroom was beautifully comfortable and we had a great nights rest - a home from home. The whole house is immaculate and the breakfast was amazing. Paul also sent us on our... More

Having stayed at Stony Point on two previous occasions in the past several years, my family and I were well aware of the charm and peaceful setting of this bed & breakfast nestled in the town of our annual family reunion. This hidden gem is convenient to town, to our family, to the park and major roads, yet secluded and... More

I had the pleasure of attending my nieces bridal shower this past weekend. Stony Point Bed & Breakfast is very unique and memorable. The innkeeper was so enthusiastic and full of historical information. He was such a joy to visit. The facility was beautiful and well-equiped to host a wonderful shower. Thank you Stony Point for a beautiful visit!

I held a baby shower for my daughter at Stony Point B&B in Tyrone, PA, on August 6th with a guest list of approx. 30 people. As a small girl, my daughter referred to this house as a magical house because of it's beauty and charm, thinking maybe a Princess lived there. We would see the house as we were... More

I recently had my baby shower at this location. It was beautiful, and my guests and myself loved it! The rooms are spacious, cozy and clean. The setting is amazing, with plently of seating, and very nice outside areas off of the house. The proprietor is wonderful as well. He is very accommodating, and puts a lot of pride into... More
