My husband and I found this a few years ago after traveling here to ride the train which is right next door. Always said we would come back sometime to stay here. We wanted a nearby getaway weekend and we thought of coming here. I called about a week ahead of travel plans and learned they were sold out due... More

This was a different experience. Hope to be able to stay here again. There office has ice, which we live out of a cooler so the lack of refrigerators in the caboose is no biggy. We came to this area on motorcycles to see the kinzua bridge. This was a perfect stop in between.

I thought the idea of sleeping in a caboose was a clever concept... but, I think it would be more suited to younger children than 70 year old folks.. We had the first caboose next to the road, and the road noise was not appreciated while trying to sleep...every time a truck, car or motorcycle went over the train tracks...ba-boom,... More

I've been a longtime fan of old, restored railroads, so I was thrilled when I first learned of the Caboose Motel years ago. Only this year did we finally have an opportunity to actually stay in the Oil City and Titusville Railroad Caboose Motel, and I loved it! The rooms (or caboose, if you will), were clean and very comfortable.... More

The caboose is air conditioned. This is not the Ritz, but was very comfortable and fun to sleep in a caboose. There are decks with chairs. Two cabooses share a deck. Hair blow dryers are available from the office as well as free ice. Pop may be purchased at the office, but remember the office closes at 8 P.M. Shares... More

Travel a lot for work it was nice to stay in a nontraditional motel room. Room was clean bed was pretty comfortable for the night I would recommend this to anybody. It was a little difficult watching the TV being so high on the wall but most people aren't here to watch the TV.

My husband who is a train collector loved our stay at the Caboose Hotel. Our room was large and the beds were comfy; the bathroom is a bit small but the water pressure in the shower was very good. We visited with our bike club and the local bike trail was fully paved and spectacular (10 miles each way); beautiful... More

There's nothing like staying in an actual train car to make train crazy boys happy. The room was fine, clean. Maybe a bit dated, but heck who cares??? You're in a train. Had a slight problem with our reservation (only had one bed in our room), but staff quickly moved us to another room with two beds. Would stay there... More

Eash room is an old caboose converted into a room and bathroom. We had one with a cupola ( a raised up area on the roof with windows), It was a nice romantic night. Dont waste your money on the train ride next door- worst ever, No scenery, just scrub bushes and trees. The Motel is seasonal. The rooms are... More

We stayed in Pennsylvania car #3 with the cupola and loved it! You can lay in bed comfy and watch the ceiling mounted TV and still see the sky ! True there is light coming in overnight from street lights but it was pleasant for us and I loved the sway of the car whenever we Wales about inside. Felt... More
