The Caboose Motel is a great unique experience. You can couple the stay with a ride on the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad through the "Valley that changed the world". Each caboose has its own bathroom, tv, & phone like any motel. They are heated and air conditioned. Nice location and close to Drake Well Park & Museum. Our caboose... More

We arrived the last week of the season and only four cabooses were rented. We found it listed at the caboose website (Arches.org) and decided to give it a try. We were in a cupola caboose painted in the colors of Western Maryland Railway (1004). Inside our unit was information about the Western Maryland Ry. but nothing abut the history... More

Spent last weekend at the caboose hotel , rooms were clean and modern.Took the train from the motel to Oil City and back , the only bad thing was that it rained on the ride back. if you want to go back in time to a really neat spot this is it.

however, the windows in the cupola need to be able to be closed from light. We stayed in a caboose that was next to a parking light which was on all night. Our room was was lit up all night despite all our indoor lights being off. Not conducive to getting a good nights rest.

I am sure each caboose is decorated separate. We stayed in 2 it had two twin beds stuck together and was a king, but it was very separated and was two twin mattress. No flat screen tv in this unit but it was a tv. very very basic furniture and not what I expected. I would stay again just for... More

My grandson and I spent two nights here, and he LOVED it. We had booked a trip with a local coach line, and it was cancelled. Being the doting grandmother that I am, I decided that we would drive up (Pittsburgh area), and spend two nights instead of the original one night offered by the coach company. We went up... More

Who wouldn't love to stay the night in an old caboose? Even those of you who are non-train fanatics will surely agree that the OC&T Caboose Motel provides good accommodations. From the outside, I was skeptical that my room (the old Nickel Plate Road caboose) would be able to comfortably fit a queen sized bed, but I was very very... More

The Caboose Motel makes a nice change from the usual Mom and Pop experience. We stayed in #1008, an ex-New York Central bay-window caboose that does not have a cupola. Inside, you would not know it was an old caboose, being nicely finished and furnished. You will need to be able to climb stairs to enjoy the experience. The unit... More

We were touring Pennsylvania on our motorcycle and saw a brochure for this place and decided, hey, what the heck. Let's give it a try! Fun experience. Clean room, quiet location. However, the "cupola" could use some blinds or curtains. Woke up about 3 a.m. thinking it was time to get up because it was so bright, only to find... More

Took the kids here for a unique experience. These are older cabooses, so no 5 stars, but the the experience and theme are great. The A/C worked great and they are more roomy then they look from the outside.
