This was our first stay at a B&B and it was wonderful. Jan and Bruce were wonderful. The cookies were the best and Bruce's Art work was unbelieveable. I bought a piece of his art to help me remember our great stay there. The breakfast was very good nothing like I had ever had before. We stayed in the Rose... more

Excellent b&b. The home and our room were just beautiful and very interesting. Every detail was covered. Jan and Bruce were lovely and very easy to talk to. The breakfast was very gourmet and just the right amount of food. They helped with good tours (not just the most advertised) and directions. The home was in a very small town... more

More than once, the Innkeeper Jan was quite happy to find my husband and I with our hands in the cookie jar, the one that sits in her dining room on a lovely antique sideboard. The cookie jar that was filled to the brim when we arrived with warm chocolate cookies with a hint of raspberry. Our stay at the... more

We recently stayed at the Artist’s Inn and Gallery’s Old Stone Cottage for our honeymoon. It was absolutely wonderful! The cottage is done with so much attention to detail that it stands out in every single room. The décor is wonderful without being overdone. The cottage is luxurious with a wonderful bed and even a whirlpool in the master bedroom.... more

My husband, my parents, and myself just spent a 3-night, 4-day weekend at “The Cottage” which is owned and rented by Jan and Bruce of “The Artist’s Inn and Gallery” in Terre Hill, Pa. It was wonderful to arrive at “The Cottage” and find home baked cookies and scones supplied by Jan; also, milk, eggs, juice, and other surprises in... more

It was a pleasure to be among the first guests in the newly-renovated carriage house. The furnishings, the decor, the amenities were all beyond what we had expected. Immaculately clean, and stocked with so many goodies! We can't wait to return. more

The Artist Inn and Gallery is a jewel in the rolling countryside of Lancaster County. The Inn is beautiful and comfortable with splendid breakfasts created by Jan. You will hear the clip-clop of Amish horse carts passing as you enjoy a cool drink on the porch. But what really “makes” your stay is the generosity of Bruce & Jan. Their... more

My husband and I stayed in the Rose Room suite at the Artist's Inn for two nights. The featherbed and pillows were very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed hearing the church bells from just across the street and also the Amish/Menonite going up and down the street in their horse driven buggies. The four course gourmet candlelight breakfasts were wonderful.... more

After a long drive from North Carolina, we opened the door to The Olde Stone Cottage, and literally said "ah." A moment of peace came over us - and never left for three nights. What amazed me was the cleanliness. Everything was spotless! It was wonderful to have a full house to our own - the privacy is fantastic. Did... more

My boyfriend and I spent one night in the Kris Kringle room and just loved it. From the moment we arrived in beautiful Terre Hill, Jan (the innkeeper) was warm and welcoming. After a tour of the inn, we enjoyed delicious fresh baked cookies and hot tea on the porch, while listening to the soft classical music piped throughout the... more
